I'm thinking about buying a '79 Cadillac for a thousand bucks. Runs really well, comfortable, looks nice... Not a bad deal at all. Cheap property tax too. I'm getting to try it out for a couple of weeks.

If that pans out and we can sell the truck we might get a new Spectra5 for some good gas mileage and be pretty set on cars for much smaller payments than we have now.

My other recent purchase was Bad Company, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Army of Two, all for PS3, for $100. I also picked up three blu-ray movies for $30.

The 4th book in the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. The books are pretty decent, so far as fantasy goes, but I intend to finish them. Some parts seem really underdone, but on the whole I like the story.

And I just found out that they're making it into a tv series. The author is heavily involved. I saw less than ten seconds of the tv spot and identified what it was from the way a group of four men were blasted off of their feet by a woman in a white dress.
