well say someone found a way to remotly program and update your markers board and hopper settings at anytime, anywhere within a certain distance and you were playing a 5 man semi only tourney and say your marker just happened to go into full auto at 25 bps and then update itself back down to semi and a ref saw that your marker all of a sudden was shooting amazingly fast for a guy who was using one finger(yes that theoretical person was a moron) but they checked out the gun and concluded it was in the legal semi mode afterwards could you guys see any problems arising? all theoretical stuff though...

only problem would be hiding the transmiter.

unless you knew what it was and took the entire board out it wouldnt be that distinguishable, especially if they werent familliar with that board.

It would pretty much get props at my field.  There's no BPS cap and full auto is legal so if that happened it would be neat.

So, you're 'theoretically' looking for a way to not get caught cheating?

That's one way to get people's opinion of tourney ballers back up where it belongs.

I forgot who, but a company does make "cheater boards."

Basically, the opening round, or any time in between (on a DM5 for example) you hit a certain code (short sequence of button mashing) and it adjusts your bps to however fast you want it. One example was in the beginning of the game, the gun ramped at 25bps instead of thirteen. Once he stopped ramping, the gun switched automatically back to 13bps.

pretty cool, but at the same time, way not cool.

Cheater boards have been around for what is basically a long time now.  Cool stuff setting aside being used when illegal.  For what you're talking about a stock Ion or a-5 board can be programmed with the stock firm ware to shoot illegal in certain situations.

Ramping by itself is cheating IMO and came from early "cheater" boards.

Some boards have been designed to ramp the dwell, increasing FPS.  This is a HUGE no-no.

yeah but cheater boards are easily found, obviously because if its on ramp for the 1st part of the game someone could come over and get your bps quickly, this would be done so if a ref did come over you could change it instantly down. and yes you could theoretically change dwell and such, but im hoping no one would do this. BTW theres another guy on pbn whos actually making/marketing one of these, seems a bit more advanced than what other remotly accesed boards Ive seen.

nah, even on semi and hopperball I still shoot faster than most milsimers, as long as their on a mech gun, and either way there are few milsimers who hold ground against me for long(some ecxeptions obviously apply, Im no pro...)
