I vote for the one where the huge asteroid crashes into
an active volcano in the middle of a hurricane. That
would be pretty epic.

Yup, he actually said that.

You should write scripts for Sci-Fi original movies.

I love Sci-Fi channel originals. Especially sasquatch movies. Sasquatch, Sasquatch Hunters, Sasquatch Mountain, etc.

edit- Mosquito is pretty good too.

I prefer the one where the passenger jet bursts into flames at the same time a freight train jumps the track because of a penny on the rails.  By coincidence both of them plow into a farmhouse that happens to set where a new faultline has just opened in the earth and the farmer inside realizes that he has a gas leak just after he strikes a match to light something.

(It's from a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon . . . I think the last line mentions that the farmer looks out the window and his eye twitches.)

Calving and Hobbes is the greatest comic strip in the history of said strips. (perhaps barring peanuts)

It might slow things up a bit, but extinguishing? Probably not.

For a split second before the scroll, I was debating whether your intelligence was equal to that of a houseplant or a garden gnome.

That would look like a giant target from outer space.
