I'm not reading/watching anything or else it'll remind me of my late Yorkie...I saw 2 Yorkies in PetSmart the other day and I started to watch them.  I haven't really payed attention to Yorkies since mine died.  I pretty much almost lost it, so I went and looked at the fish.

We lost a St. Bernard a few years back. She was my sister's dog, but you couldn't NOT love this animal. She was the biggest, dopiest dog we'd ever owned, and because of her I want to get another Saint when we finally get a house (gonna take some work on the wife though)

She died suddenly, which made it worse. I remember being at college and got the call that she'd passed. That was several years ago....but I still miss that massive, narcoleptic, drool factory.

In the years I've lost a few of my Basset's. One passed in my truck, and is buried in a rest area in Kansas. My other died at the vet's while we were on vacation in NY. Old age was the cause on both, and I still miss them. I am down to 2 Basset's and spend a lot of time with them now that I am home. It is hard losing a pet, to me they are family.

When I worked at an animal hospital and a pet had to be put to sleep for any reason it got to almost the entire staff there.  You never get use to something like that, not even the vets that have been there for over 30 years.

Had two hampsters, both male in one cage when I was younger, woke up one morning to one of them laying in the food bowl with no head, the other one was a good bit fatter.

Also had a cat die recently of kidney failure.

I am not even going to watch the video. I know I'll lose it. I raised my dog Bishop from a stray pup and when he goes I am going to be a wreck. He is only a few years old so I have awhile.

My parents bought me a American Eskimo when I was 5 years old, I had her until I was 16, we had to put her down due to kidney failure.

That's the only time I've ever seen my father cry, it was a very sad moment... Weeks before I had created some casts of her tracks in the mud, I still have them.

It was pretty damn tough to have my black lab run out into the high way and get hit right in-front of me.

Losing a good dog, no matter how old you are, is a heart crusher.

Our dog died about 2 years ago - we had to put her down because her equilibrium was unbalanced and she could hardly balance herself enough to get off the ground anymore.

I was unaffected for the most part.

I had to bury my moms dog last year, she had raised it from a pup, and it ws still young.  Got loose and ran over, and as I got home the neighbor brought it over to let us know.  I haven't cried since the first grade due to another pet, but it almost had me crying.  I loved that dog.

Ever notice when skillet makes a bad post, it's just deleted with no mention, but if anyone else does it it's a strike/guest?

Just an observation.

Cry moar.

Skillet made what I judged to be an honest mistake- which was completely viable given the size of what he'd pasted.

Should you make an honest mistake, I'll extend the same courtesy.

Be an idiot and you'll get strikes.

Well, crap. Thought I could watch it but I couldn't, haha. Got about 3.5 minutes in before it just got too damn depressing. My family had 2 dogs but they died before I was old enough to remember them so I wasn't really bothered by their deaths but I've always wanted one. Once I move out on my own and get myself setup with a nice job I'll probably get a dog or two.
