Subject: Biden gets some "real" questions...
Date Posted: 27 October 2008 at 8:30am

Obama and Biden have been enjoying an easy road to the whitehouse, since the media has been giving them softball questions for the entire campaign.

Watch what happened this weekend when a reporter asked some real questions that I for one, am concerned about.

http://www.wftv.com/video/17790025/index.html - http://www.wftv.com/video/17790025/index.html

Now that station is banned from interviewing Obama and Biden, and any future interviews if they get elected.

Silence any opposition. Just like China...

http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=79199 - http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=7 9199

If the media actually vetted Obama this stuff wouldn't be coming out right before the election.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iivL4c_3pck - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iivL4c_3pck

Not to worry. I'm looking at who our company can eliminate from payroll once my taxes go up even more.

Just say no to "spread the weath". Otherwise what is the point of working for a living? The government will just decide that you have too much and take it away from you to give to the people they deem "needy"...

The country gets what it deserves. Higher taxes on the "rich" just mean less jobs for the "middle class".

Guess you guys better polish up that old resume.

Every administration bans stations where their reporters go that far out of line.

Even the McCain campaign has done it this election. Why do you think Palin hasn't been on CNN since Campbell Brown ranted about Palin?

So calling a candidate "incompetent, stupid, unqualified, corrupt, or all of the above?".

Is the same thing as asking about Joe about "spreading the wealth" being a Marxist view?

It is a marxist view.

Wow, that interview was absolute crap, I don't know what to think of that. I'm generally in favor of republican views (and I support McCain) but it seemed like that interviewer was leaning too far to the right even for me. I guess the topics that were brought up weren't necessarily bad but the way they were presented was awful, it's no wonder Biden pretty much disregarded her attempts to get a detailed response. I think, as a politician, Biden acted appropriately but it would have been nice for him to just explain why he thought the questions were ridiculous instead of just laughing and giving quick answers. I think that would probably have helped to silence the people who keep bringing it up. But in any case, that was quite craptacular and reminds me just how much I hate the media and politicians.

He's ahead in polls, the media reports it as he's winning which paints McCain as losing meaning the media is trying to elect Obama.

Read the article I posted. I have a degree in television and film. I took tons of classes on media ethics, ect. Trust me, its super biased. From the way they phrase questions, to the way they take polls. Even the way they "bump" the camera during the debates... Obama larger on the left, McCain, smaller, and not in the center of the screen with "soft" focus. To the untrained eye, you don't notice. But, it skews your judgement of the tended victim.

Here is a quote from that article I posted.

"No, what I object to (and I think most other Americans do as well) is the lack of equivalent hardball coverage of the other side -- or worse, actively serving as attack dogs for the presidential ticket of Sens. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and Joe Biden, D-Del.

If the current polls are correct, we are about to elect as president of the United States a man who is essentially a cipher, who has left almost no paper trail, seems to have few friends (that at least will talk) and has entire years missing out of his biography.

That isn't Sen. Obama's fault: His job is to put his best face forward. No, it is the traditional media's fault, for it alone (unlike the alternative media) has had the resources to cover this story properly, and has systematically refused to do so.

Why, for example to quote the lawyer for Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., haven't we seen an interview with Sen. Obama's grad school drug dealer -- when we know all about Mrs. McCain's addiction? Are Bill Ayers and Tony Rezko that hard to interview? All those phony voter registrations that hard to scrutinize? And why are Sen. Biden's endless gaffes almost always covered up, or rationalized, by the traditional media?"

Wait obama has a drug dealer? Whos Bill Ayers and Tony Rezko?? Now FE I agree with most of what you said, but I never heard of Biden making any gaffes. Lets stick with the main issue of this election, a 3 letter word J O B S.

Drug use: He's admitted to it for years, using drugs when your 20 and later admitting to it kind of makes it a non issue.

Bill Ayers: Why would he want to do an interview?

Rezko: He's facing charges right now, I doubt giving interviews will help him.

How are Biden's gaffes covered up? His obama will be tested or the one about him taking guns has been largely covered.

This entire election has been fought on an astoundingly low intellectual level, and it seems that most of the voters believe that tax cuts should come like peaches and cream even though we are facing a staggering and record setting federal deficit.

Yeah, thats a great idea, until all the countries in the world who hate us realize we don't have any means to defend ourselves. Why wait for the once "greatest country in the world" to pay you back when you can just take it? Theoretically, sure, that'd work. But not really...unfortunately.

i disagree, laughing at someones stupidity is one thing on the internet, but for a VP candidate it would seem alot more profesional and just make him look better overall if he just came out with strong answers rather then " *blink* *blink* is *blink blink blink* that a *blink* real question?"

not that i'm saying he did a horrible job of it, but how someone reacts in a hostile environment says alot about them, whether or not its a serious issue being posed.

every news station leans one way or another... you just have to take it with a grain of salt.

Lately that's been bothering me too. They keep denying that they intend to spread the wealth while they've been saying those exact words for weeks. I think what they mean to say is that they don't literally want to spread the wealth, they just mean to effectively spread the wealth around. Obama literally said "spread the wealth" but I think he meant that he plans on taxing the rich more and not raising taxes on the middle class so that they will not lose more money. The idea being, everybody but the upper class has more money to throw around than before. I think the difference between that and doing a direct transfer from a rich guy's bank account to a middle/lower class guy's account is pretty slim really but they could still have done a better job addressing the issue. Right now they just resort to the "we didn't say that" argument which is complete (and unecessary) crap.

Obama has been for redistribution of wealth forever.

Here he is talking about how he plans on changing the US back in 2001.

By creating these groups to "get out to vote", hmm, Acorn anyone?

Rewriting the constitution to eliminate "white mans greed runs a world in need".

Listen to Obama's words.

why should anyone try and be successful, when Obama is just going to take away your money and give it to "his" needy ones.

Yeah, I know. The topic of this thread was that garbage network ABC... They lean so far left its ridiculous...

Too bad it wasn't a reputable source like fox news.

Fox News and reputable shouldn't be in he same sentence. I am really beginning to think you are someones troll account.

Has to be. There is no way ANYONE thinks Fox news is a reputable source. Doesn't matter who you're voting for.

You guys are funny.

Pariel made a blanket statement that was incorrect, (I guess he didn't check the original link...). I made fun of him. Then I made fun of Fox news. (they are "fair and balanced" after all.)...

I understand that each media outlet is skewed. That was the point of the article I posted written by the guy at ABC...

http://abcnews.go.com/Business/Story?id=6099188&page=1 - http://abcnews.go.com/Business/Story?id=6099188&page=1

Even "fact check.org is skewed. It was started by a super liberal at CNN... yeah, he doesn't have an agenda (tongue in cheek).

Its just when they pretend that they aren't skewed and people on here buy it. That bothers me. (look back and see who I'm talking about). Obviously they don't think for themselves.

Just think. Don't trust the media, and look it up yourself.

Obama is about to ruin "freedom" and "Free Enterprise, which is Capitalism". The "republicans" aren't that far behind him either...

Our government has become the corrupt hand out center for civilization, and we end up paying for it...

Not We the people anymore.

Obama Change-d it to

We the government, can "save" the people... With more money of course.

I for one don't need "saving".

So if you like capitalism, and think people shouldn't be saved what did you think of the $700 billion bill supported by Bush and Mccain?

I completely disagree with the bailout bill.

It will just result in more companies,(not already included in the bill) asking for the same thing...

Which now that this precident has been started, where does it end?

car companies are now asking for government buy ins.

smaller insurance companies are doing the same.

Read the link I posted above, from Davy Crockett...

No, my blanket statement stands.  When nine sources out of ten are so hideously biased that not even Republicans will believe them, you need to find better sources of information.

WFTV Channel 9=/=ABC

http://www.wftv.com/video/17790025/index.html - McCain interview

She's a truly amazing journalist.  All I can say is, "Wow, I forgot how bad Florida sucks".

*EDIT* Oh, and the ABC article was not by any means the start of this thread.  Maybe you should go look at your own posts?  I know old age can cause some people to be forgetful...but seriously.  I can't believe you need to go back and check your own posts.

Yeah, thats a great idea, until all the countries in the world who hate us realize we don't have any means to defend ourselves. Why wait for the once "greatest country in the world" to pay you back when you can just take it? Theoretically, sure, that'd work. But not really...unfortunately.

Do you guys really miss the sarcasm as much of the time as you post that you do, or are you just screwing with me?

Like, there was a clear joke at the end. (I guess you could not know what a dodgy is.  But you should know.)
