Should be in New Players, but its Aluminum, Carbonfiber, and some plastic. Why?

I what to purchase one and do some customizing. What material is the barrel made from?

The barrel is a carbonfiber barrel with a proprietary attachment. Meaning, the C3 barrel only fits the C3.

Not much customizing can be done to the body of the c3 unless you create a really cool cover for it or something.

What did you have in mind?

I think the C-3's barrel is aluminum. Not carbon fiber

The barrel isn't aluminum or carbon fiber. It's made of a spcial composite that can stand the heat caused by the propane. Replacing it wouldn't be smart because (1) it's pretty hard trying to make your own, and (2) if Tippmann could make a better barrel for it, they probably would have. I own a C-3 and the only mods I think possible would be customizing the grips and maybe adding a stock using the same threads that the velocity adjuster is on. Other than those appearance changes I think it's best to leave it alone.
