Pretty simple idea really, just list the stupid, inconsequential  things in the world you hate the most, but try to keep any arguments or politics out of it. I know we did pet peeves one time, but I'm bored with our current topics on the forum.

1. Guitar Hero
2. My PS3 not working
3. to be continued

There is one thing I hate. And there are a few residents of PA, who may know what I mean.

The PA lottery has this stupid animatronic groundhog named Gus that they use on their tv ads. This thing spawns a rage in me like nothing else I have ever known.

People that can't pick up their frickin feet when they walk, so they just drag them along. God that annoys me.

And people that blow bubbles when they are chewing gum. Even worse are the people that will blow 3 separate bubbles without popping them, but then go to town on popping everything.

People that make unnecessary noise during class.

stupid roomates who take no responsibility or initiative when it comes to our apartment.
example: they leave the tv on all the time. one will actually be watching two tvs in different rooms on the same channel at once.
they are too stupid to realize that the toilet is running, even though i taped signs in their athroom that i never use telling them that the toilet runs if you dont jiggle the handle.  their stupidity resulted in a 107$ water bill this month.

also, some people point out the obvious.  whats really annoying is my one roomate who instead of pointing out the obvious, inquires about it.  she's too retarded to figure out obvious stuff, so she asks me.
scene: our apartment, empty beer bottles everywhere.  beer pong table setup.
katie: "were you here this weekend"
me: no
katie: did they have a party or somethin?
me: *blink* /leaves

so basically, my roomates piss me off to no end.

Are they at least hot enough to make their stupidity bearable?  My friends tend to date dumb girls that aren't hot enough to make up for it.

Ouch.  Those are the worst kinds.

I hate ugly chicks that have crappy personalities.  You'd think if you were ugly, you'd try to make up for it with personality.

Like hot chicks, they can afford to be a little female doggish every now and then, because they're hot.  Ugly chicks don't have that going for them.

stupid little condescending(sp?) jerks, like little pee-on co-op that just left for a quarter. when he screws up, he always replies, "well, you didn't tell me to do it" when you confront him. you aren't going to get a frickin' instruction manual for every aspect of your job. use common sense. and when you get chewed out, just accept it; stop making doggone excuses for why you spilled gunpowder all over the place and failed to properly clean it up. ugh.... just when I thought idiocy couldn't get any worse, he breaks through and doesnt' look back...

I've been a five year XM subscriber. Since the two companies merged, the radio stations on XM have just merged with Sirius. One of the station I listened to a lot was XMU, the indie station. As of Wednesday, all of the XM staff has been dropped with Sirius guys, and the DJ on the new station is named Jake Fogelnest, and he is a total D-bag.

1) People who cannot grasp news writing attribution. SAID. USE SAID. JUST SAID. Not according to, or says, or cried, or laughed, or admitted, or spoke, or joked, or whatever. Just. Said.

2) People who don't keep up with current events.

3) Hipsters.

4) People who complain about tough professors or hard classes. You are in college, time to put on the big-boy shoes.

5) Realizing I left a tag on a new piece of clothing.

6) People who throw trash in the bed of my truck.

7) Buttons falling off shirts.

8) Pens that bleed through paper.

9) Mosquitoes.

10) People who blame the DAMNED MAINSTREAM MEDIA.

11) People who talk about something as if it was fact when it is not. Mostly rumors and urban myths.

Agree with the bold part.  Disagree with the part about peers: I have no desire to be their peer, we are at vastly different places in our lives.  (Plus, being asked to buy alcohol is annoying.)

The whole point of being a peer with other people regardless of age is to benefit yourself when it comes to learning new material. Maybe some people get what you don't, and vise-versa. You help each other. I don't see a problem with that at all.

That's an important aspect of university. Being peers with nearly all involved, even profs. I don't know if this is the same everywhere, but my university all teachers ask to go by their first name.

That's so when you're talking in between classes about who you slept with last night, you don't say "Professor Caine," you use his/her first name.  It's harder for them to get caught that way.

  • Racists
  • Liars
  • Thieves
  • Back stabbers
  • Cops that enjoy harassing people because they can
  • People who tailgate people
  • Those new BMW's with the super bright headlights that give you a headache. I love BMWs (M3 = the sex) but I hate driving near someone with those lights.
  • "Donks"
  • McDonalds food (note: this excludes their breakfast and tea)
I'm sure I left out a ton of things. This is just things that I have hated in the last week or so.

What?

They're always calling me names like "honky" and "cracker", but so help me lord if I should drop the N-word; and they get money and benefits just for the color of their skin.  Its messed up dude, and I hate it.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I have some friends who are black and they're alright, so its not all of them, just most of them.

Again,

Don't you always say something catty to FE about reading the links before he talks about them?

No, I say something catty about reading the links before POSTING them...  Obviously entirely and drastically different.

I think Darur's thought process is more along the lines of Chris Rocks "I love black people, but I hate <you know what's next>"

ME:

1) The the fact that an overwhelming percentage of pilots and military officers are very conservative (will make it tough for me to get my dream job).

2) People who will continuously argue subjects against people who are more knowledgeable than them in said subject.

2A) Those who keep trying to say that both of the arguers are saying the exact same thing.

3) French manicures.

4) Any insect that is attracted and will bite/sting/stick to humans.

5) When people go to new/original restaurants and order the same types of food they can get anywhere else.

6) The fact that it no longer gets warm in Florida Winters. Now it's just hot all year round.

7) People who mess up/give their life stories when talking to ATC, leaving everyone else to waste time and money while waiting for their turns to get clearance.

8) Group members who desert you on projects.

9) People who sleep with the tv/radio/lights on.

10) Gingers.

Mornings.

Ill-timed rocket attacks.

That minute of time where you're waiting for the kettle
to heat up some water so you can make instant coffee.

Language barriers.

When our heater acts up and I wake up to a cold tent.

Around here nowadays you can't ride four wheelers on hunting land owned by the state.

Distinctly average just now but hopefully going to pick up in the next couple of weeks,
Yeah, I've not been posting much on here for a while although I've had a wee browse every so often. With all the election nonsense there hasn't been much for me to say since I got back online.

Nice to be remembered  Good luck in the sandpit btw.

Glasgow for a few hours.

haha I wonder what I hate?

actually Im a very forgiving guy and take the road less travelled and try not to hate anything, I have realised hate is unproportional response to discomfort and is a nescissary part of life, It drives us away from the stupid and negative, but it must not overwhelm us or it will take control of our lives and we will live in a world where people are held down by their hate and the world will never evolve.
