I have in front of me an opprotunity to buy either but I am not sure which to choose.  They would run me almost exactly the same after loaders and uch.  I am very into scenario but I could make the TacOne look like a scenario marker so I am not worried about that.  Chime in and let me know your thoughts.

I would say Tac One just because the quality of AGD is
excellent, but I have no experience with the TM7 nor
have heard any reviews about it.

"Look like a scenario marker." How does the Tac One not look like a scenario marker? It's black and has all the rails and stuff...

Now if you mean mil-sim, I'm of the opinion that's just a waste of resources, so I'll leave it at that. The irony of it all is that I stand by my conviction that these electro-flinger "space guns" so many woodsballers are against are better in the woods than almost any marker that's marketed as "woodsball."

Sorry for the mini rant. My vote goes with the Tac One.

Edit* I did mean milsim sorry should have been more clear.  And as far as a waste or not to each their own.  I am not a fan of chromed out guns or just super speedbal looking guns but if others are then its their un so go for it.

I have a pretty basic Automag and love it the few times I have gotten to use it. It may well become my primary even though it doesn't fling as much paint as my E-gripped A5. The TM7 is pretty badass though as well.

A couple of thoughts regarding your decision. AGD has a pretty proven track record for reliability and no batteries to change, while the TM7 is pretty new on the market. Also, looking at resale, AGD products seem to hold their value well if/when you get the itch to trade again. Is the TM7 going to do the same? If it is anything like Tippmanns, they will be on the market mid next year for about $200. Maybe wait until then and pick one up.

if the deal for the tacone falls through i ay do just that.  wait it out a little and sell my gun now and justput the cash in reserve for when it does fall so i can go grab it.  we shall see how the cards fall thugh.

edit* I have also been looking at the alpha black wth a cyclone and a hammerhead kit.  It is about the same price with everything as either of these with just the gun.  ugh decisions............

Don't Get a hammerhead kit. They are accurate yes, but are waaaaaay over priced, just get a J&J and use your extra moneyz to get an E-grip or response trigger.

or get an M16'd Apex, that would look awsome on an AB

I would kind of consider the AB to be a bit of a step backwards. Granted, I will probably get one at some point, but mainly as an M4/M16 type to take to scenarios where I am on the American side. Currently putting together an AK47 A-5 for when I am on the Russian side in the upcoming WAW at Battlefront this Spring.

I do agree and as far as the hammerhead vs J&J I love J&J kits considering I have one but I have always wanted to try the hammerhead and I do agree it could be seen as a step backwards but it would save money and I would still have a decent gun.  Plus I really want a milsim looking marker.  I would prefer the TM7 but I just need to see how the cash flow goes for a few I guess.  Either way I will prolly wiat a few and see if the price drops.  As for battlefront do you mean the battle front in hubbard ohio?  if so I may just have to make an appearance since that is one of my favorite fields.

Yes on the Battlefront. My brother an I went last year and had a freaking blast. Since it is nearly 3 1/2 hours away, it tends to be a once or twice a year thing, so we have to make it count. I think they had something like 4-500 people show up last year split into 4 teams. This coming year, I believe it is going to be Russia, Australia, Japan and China. Planned for mid April. If you plan on going, let me know.

Might have to try and get the team to go.  What area do you come from that it is 3.5 hours.  its about the same for me maybe a little less.

Lima. Actually about 10 miles West of Lima. It sucks because we really like that field, but the distance makes it difficult to get up there very often. We only go up for the scenario event. Probably WAW2 and Ia Drang this year. We also might try to get to Kellys Heros.

Relatively close to you I think. Battlefront is in Hubbard, http://www.battlefrontpaintball.com - www.battlefrontpaintball.com . It is a pretty popular field, I am kind of surpised you haven't played it. Another one that I have heard some good things about and it also close by their is Professor Lumpys. Blackcat had a scenario a couple of month ago there. BF is a pretty nice field, large with a lot of varying terrain.

SO many ohioans... columbus here.  Anyways I highly recomend this place.  Its an old gunpowder factory that blew up but some of the buildings were left in ruined condition.  they reinforced the buildings and now its the perfect place for WWII settings.  I may just have to get the cocker done for this one.  I am turning it into a thompson.
