I was going to make one of these too. I'm pissed off about my unemployment too, as I had a good interview where they TOLD ME they would get me shifts in the next day or two. After a week of followups and no info, they tell me "oh we dont really have any...maybe call us in January, cause we dont want to tell you we will call, and then dont...."

I couldn't live if I was unemployed. Since 8th grade I've always had a job.

Currently unemployed.
Although I'm at a stage where I need to do something with my life rather than getting another crap job so I'm not too bothered as long as I sort myself out in the long term. Unemployment is the worst ever.
Zero buzz.

My wife's been unemployed since last June. Her position as a TA was terminated at the school. With her not being ABLE to work in a few months time, I'll be hunting for a second job to support the arrival of the baby.

My mentor got laid off yesterday. That sucked.

He was my news editor when I was a contributing reporter, my Editor-in-Chief when I was a staff writer, and my adviser when I was Editor-in-Chief myself.

Got laid off from the company yesterday morning. Took a two-weeks severance package.

my gfs work is sinking fast (newspaper). a few weeks ago they cut the marketing department of like 30ppl, then they cut 15 people from the news room (combined expearance of 297 years with that paper)

a few months ago they were looking to sell the paper so they signed a contract saying if they got laid off from then to 6 months after the sale they would get one heck of a severance package... my gfs looking for a job right now and is gunna look into getting a voluntary package. (over $20,000)

if you guys do get real hard up for money enlist...

www.usajobs.com has TONS of fair-good paying jobs with great benifits...
