I am considering getting C3 PEP marker for practicing as well as for times when I don't feel like filling up air every half hour. Although I own the following guns:
A5 egrip, with apex barrel
A5 RT, with flatline barrel
Spyder pilot eye
Spyder Pilot ACS

Although, I have read a lot of reivews, both pro & against it, I was surprised not to find any article on this forum regarding this gun. I apologize if I have overlooked.

I would appreciate an input regarding:
Can it be used with a remote gas line?
someone on a different forum mentioned that he intends to use apex barrel tip on his C3.

I look forward to your input on this & any suggestion regarding this marker.

Thx Sangreti for your reply. I haven't physically looked at the marker yet @ the store, therefore, I haven't had a chance to see what kind of threading it has. I guess, thats one more reason why it's not popular despite what Tippmann claims about the 50,000 ball shots per cannister.

Cheers

I have never seen a remote setup for a C3, but it isn't physically impossible to make. You will probably need the right hose, some gas fittings, and a lathe.

An apex tip is definitely an option, the only problem may be the heat from the barrel.

Good thinking ssok, specially what you said about the heat with the Apex does make sense.

I guess, I will just get it & use it for practice purpose only. Unless it breaks down sooner, I assume it will pay itself off. In any case, the price will be the same as the amount I spent on balls monthly.

Thanks both ssok & sangreti on your reply & suggestions...

Cheers.

I will post my opinion on the marker once I play with it for a while. Hopefully, positive remarks..
