Please use the search button. There are more threads on this forum than you can imagine asking the same question.

To answer it, I would say a 12-14" JJ Ceramic.

The most accurate barrel will generally be the one with the best paint / barrel bore match.

I am a newbie here and to paintball, I got the 98 custom power pack, just to play around in the feild with my son. I put a ball in the stock barrel and it fell all the way through. After reading several forums I think the j&j ceramic might be what I want, for the price, about $30 online. Now my question is do they have an insert? How do you match the paint to the barrel. What level 1 or 2 paint to buy with a j&j ceramic.

Keep in mind that the ball latch in the 98 will keep that from happening when the barrel is on the marker so it is not necessarily as serious a problem as it may seem.  Also be aware that just about any after-market barrel will be much more accurate than the stock barrel.
