It's a pretty light Christmas.

From my mom:

iPod car connector thing, because my CD player in my truck died. NPR is nice, but tunes were needed.

A waterproof jacket.

A long-sleeve T-shirt and some pajama pants.

From my girlfriend:

A fancy hardback copy of The Federalist Papers that I have been pining for.

A Florida State University - Physics Department Tshirt. I got her a Tshirt from the paper I work for, so we have been trading school stuff for a while now.

Lets see, I got a 154 piece mechanic tool set (to keep in my trucks tool box),
I got a set of metric impact sockets (to raise and lower my truck as I please),
I got mario kart for the wii, gow2, a new alarm clock, a $25 gift card to
sears (to buy more tools), clothes, candy, more stuff for installing car
stereos, and so far about $100 in cash (probably for more tools). I know that
this is not it either, because I still have to go over to my grandmas, to finish
off my christmas with her, and she always has present for us.

Oh man what did he do, I must have missed something.

so far I have only opened what the girlfriend gave to me which is this totaly awesome traditional style popcorn maker. Comes in a 60s style case and uses oil instead of hot air to cook the popcorn to give it that movie style taste. Easily the best gift that I will get just because of the thought she put in to it knowing I wanted it for the past 3 months. Otherwise I have yet to open anything else as my brother is still at his girlfriends house and I wont be at my parents place until 1PM PST.

Update from earlier, went to my grandmas, and she got me a 5,000,000 candle power super light thing that can blind you, a pair of new side cutters which I like to cut wire and what have you with, A set of engraving bits for the dremel tool I bought with some of my birthday money not to long ago, and a copy of Iron Man.

So, all in all I would say I got a pretty good haul this year, only thing I wish would have happened, is I would have gotten a netbook of some sort, or my old laptop fixed and back in working order. Which was attempted but unfinished do to lack of free time my dad has.

-2GB of ram for my laptop (wrong kind so I have to return them tomorrow and get the right kind)
-shirt

-gags and jokes set

And the reason why we didn't buy much this year:

Still have some stuff coming, and to give, as my older siblings haven't had Christmas with the family yet.

But, I got some sweet stuff from my 'rents and my twin brother:

-1 TB external drive
-Blue sweat and brown corduroy pants
-8 GB flash drive
-4 slot powered USB hub
-Keychain multi-tool
-Mark's Standard Handbook for Mechanical Engineers 11th Edition
-Machinery's Handbook 28th Edition
-Flying Buttresses, Entropy, and O-Rings: The World of an Engineer
-The Design of Everyday Things
-Success Through Failure: The Paradox of Design
-Half-Life 2 Game of the Year Edition

I think it was a pretty good set of stuff.  The first two books are things I will be using multiple times a week, probably for the rest of my life, and the 1 TB drive is pretty helpful too.  Everything else is just fun stuff.  The rest of the books are actually for a class that I kind of wanted to take, but decided I could learn just as much from reading the books they would be reading.  I'm taking "Controversies of Shakespeare" instead.

Also, I got about $100 for Christmas presents, $60 for dinner in NYC tomorrow, and $330 for the spring semester, because I am actually broke right now.

And my girlfriend and her parents got me a pair of $140 tickets to see "White Christmas" (a personal favorite) on Broadway tomorrow evening (hence cash for dinner then), which should be super fun.

I'm pretty sure I made out almost as well as the people at GM and Chrysler this Christmas.

Pretty good haul this year, even though I'm thousands of miles from home.

Main gift is a metal NSD Powerball, this thing is wicked. The plastic powerballs are ok, but when this is ticking over at barely 8000rpm you can't hold onto it.

Mug. Rightly stating the fact that I am simply the Sexiest man alive.

Metallica T-shirt. Retro rocks. Retro rock rocks.

Nice new red LED keyring light.

The Trinity trilogy by Fiona Mcintosh.

Cartoon book.

Chocolate covered Turkish delight.

Dark Knight, Wall-e, Stardust and Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2009.

{Edit - Forgot the present I got myself, the sofa I'm sitting on.}

Good haul all round.

There was another present but this is a child friendly board, so I can't tell you what it is.

air compressor with 4 nail guns (porter cable), 16" chain saw, 150lb clicker torque wrench, some clothes, a nice home repair book, ornaments, foods/candies... then me and my gf got $500 to pay for a trip to FL in march... moms renting a house for a week for my aunts wedding in west palm then we might head up to orlando and hit um disney for a day or 2.

last time me and my gf went to disney (for a week) it cost us $350 each and that included some christmas shopping...(thats everything, plane ticket, gas for the car, food)

PCF, you picked up the R/C copter as well? Both my brother and I did as well, and I spent the day helping him adjust his trim levels.

40" LCD 1080p Toshiba... beautiful picture, just got done watching "The Dark Knight" in HD and wow was it nice looking... also I feel like I am playing all my games for the first time, truly seeing their graphics and clarity unleashed...

I payed half on the T.v but the price was great, under 700$.

So far Dead Space, Fight Night Round3, and Geometry Wars have looked the best, GeometryWars is in 1080i, the highest HD goes on the Xbox...

False.  The Xbox supports 1080p using HDMI cables, or the component video cables, assuming your tv supports 1080p via component.
