Ive been out of paintball for about 3 years and am planning on upgrading from the custom to the custom pro platinum act electronic. It looks like its 220$. From my understanding the gun comes with a WAS board and the ACT. I have a lot of old parts from my 98 that i want to convert to the gun.(1) I have lapco ball feeder for my q loader. It requires the spring loaded front sight to keep up the ball feeder. (2) I also want to reuse my drop foward, and Air Source adaptor. (3) I am also assuming barrel threading is the same?

Lastly, i have had my tank (co2) for over 3 years. Does this need testing? thanks

Umm im not really sure what your trying to ask. Are you saying you have a 98 custom and want to buy a custom pro platinum electric. Well most parts will be interchangeable if you have a newer version of the 98 custom. The drop forward i am sure will be okay but as for the barrel threading it depends on just how old your 98 custom is.

he wants to get a new one and take the lapco feeder, drop forward, asa, and barrel from the old one and put it on the new one.

The drop and ASA should fit perfectly fne.  As for the barrel I am almost positive they never changed up the threads (if I am incorrect please let him know).  I am not as sure about the lapco adaptor though.  I think it should work as I cannot see them making a whole new design on that part but whi knows... they may have.  I would recommend asking tippmann themselves.
