Way to stumble over the oath there Mr. President.
Let's just hope that isn't the first of many like it was for Bush.

I haven't called him "Barak" or "Obama" yet, so that right there shows I have respect for his position.

Roberts messed it up, obama paused so roberts could correct himself, then obama proceeded to make the same goof that roberts did at first. he put faithfully at the end of that line rather than the beginning.

So I wonder who the group of black guys were that Obama blew past when he entered the luncheon? Couldnt shake enough old white guys hands, but a brother couldnt catch a break, even when they were standing next to Kennedy.

Agreed that Warren was good. He is always a pretty solid speaker.
And by "that guy" I presume you meant Dr. Joseph Lowery, civil rights icon and friend of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.?
I thought that was pretty powerful as well.
Although Obama still wins the prize for best speech in a long time.

Man, a brother can't catch a break. Even when he is elected President, people scrutinize how many black people he greets and how many white people.

I looked up what the Rev. said. I cannot say I am very pleased. Glen Beck actually has a pretty good retort to the situation.
Something that has always bothered me is that this is not a victory for Middle Eastern decent but has been pushed as a African or Black decent victory. 50% white 46% arabic and 4% african/black (may have to check a few of those percentages but I believe them to be close). And if we went off of those percentages this would still be a victory for white people (if we were to classify victorys).
I thought we could add racism to the list of things that were changing, but I guess not.

Did anyone see the Inaguration Celebration on Sunday? They had a bunch of celebrity guest speakers (Denzel, Tom Hanks, etc.).
Anyway, they had a Master Sergeant singing the National Anthem at the very beginning, and he screwed it up pretty big, and it was in the worst part ever. Look it up on YouTube if you get the chance, you can probably find it.

That's the thing I'll never get over though-- No matter what happens, the US will get back on it's feet in coming years and Obama will get the credit, and Bush the blame, when reality Obama has to do nothing for it to get better.

So you are proactively witholding credit from Obama for anything positive that might happen during his administration?

Oh no, I'm not, I'm just saying that not all good that will be done will be on behalf of him.
