Ok, so my problem is that every say 50 shots or so my gun (Custom Pro without anti-chop) will get cocked half way, meaning a ball is only half way in the chamber. Now I have a super response trigger on it shooting around 16 - 19 bps. To back it up I have the cyclone feed with QEPH, vortex mod, and lightning rod, I lubricate the thing as well. So I'm assuming the problem of course would be that the cyclone is not keeping up with the rate of fire properly. But surely the cyclone feed accompanied with all of these internal upgrades would be enough to keep up? Now I know alot about the gun and cyclone feed and how it works and what not, but I'm just not sure why it's not keeping up perfectly. Am I not lubing it up good enough? Lubing some of the wrong parts? Not using the correct lube? Is the super RT somehow taking away from giving the cyclone feed enough air to efficiantly operate 100%? I'm not sure. But I'm just wondering if any of you guys have a problem with the cyclone feed and/or upgrades when shooting at high rates of fire at say 15+ bps. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I'm running CO2. I think I MAY have found the problem, although I'm out of CO2 to test it it makes sense. I took apart my cyclone feed to test things out. Now, for a simple way of testing leaks, I blow in valves. haha. Now I know no human can blow into any part of a paintball gun anywhere near as pressurized as a CO2 or HPA can could, but it works for the basic tests. So I blew into the line leading into the cyclone feed, I noticed the a hit of air. Now I wasn't quite sure, but I can take a good bet that there shouldn't be any loose air cruising on through the o-ring of the piston. So I took my stock piston and stock cyclone housing and blew in it, and no air went through, the piston just pushed out nicely without leaks. So I took the o-ring off of the stock piston and put it on the lightning rod version and it doesnt leak any air (when I blow through it) at all. So um, I hoping and guessing that makes some since for that to possibly do the trick. However I wouldn't be surprised if I go to shoot again and 40 shots or so into it I gotta recock it. Either way I'm not sure what was wrong with the o-ring on the lightning rod in that case, but I guess sometimes you can't tell just by looking at it. So, if any of you guys have had any experience blowing into your cyclone feed valve to know whether it does or does not leak, then I guess that might be it, or not it. Haha, and I'm not so sure anyone's done that.

I have the same upgrades in my A5 -RT, running HPA, LPK. The only time i've had probs was either a weak hammer spring, or when hopper is near empty the paddles can over-rotate. Otherwise when tuned i reached 21-22 bps on full-auto with my APE E-Grip.

Alright I've gotcha. Yea the overrotation problem was what I was wondering. I was shooting with only a few paintballs in the hopper so that may support your answer. In terms of hammer and spring, I've got the Zero Kick backed with a stronger spring from the Maddmann spring kit, so I'm hoping that shouldn't be the problem, Super RT still flings em.
