So I've had some tim to think an I decided I want a second pet( I've had lots of pets but only one at a time) an I went to a pet store. Puppys were freaking 500 dolars! So I went home and found out I can adopt a baby bangal tiger for only 300 with permits so on my graduation... I'm geting a femail baby bangal and nameing it Samantha . be VERY careful with "dangerous animals". if you are being serious then you should know your going to spend a WHOLE lot more on a tiger than you ever will on a dog.
-home owners insurance will go though the roof. -with large cats IICR you need a 12' fence with a 12' moat. -the amount and type of food. -vet bills (most vets work on dogs keeping the price down, few work on large cats. -if a large cat snaps your dead, if a large dog snaps your probably messed up and its dead. dont go to the pet store to buy your dogs. they are over priced and generally abused/mentally retarded. you can adopt from the pound for $50 either find a dog thats 1-2 and well trained or find a pup that shows signs of intelligence. (you might wait a little while to find it but when you do it will be well worth it) NOTE: if you find a good dog at a rescue/pound KEEP IT WITH YOU and pay for it that day! when my gf got her dog 8 years ago she had 4 people try to take/buy it out of her arms. when we got our rabbits we had at least 1 or 2 people each time trying to take them from her. research breeds: if you want an AKC breed make sure you know the requirements (parents must have their papers if the pups are gunna have papers) if not just look up breeds that are good for your lifestyle. pitbulls CAN be great dogs HOWEVER i would recommend against them. from what i have seen well trained pits will be patient and not be overly aggressive but it builds up and they snap, when they do they can easily break bones and kill other animals and even people. ------------- saving the world, one warship at a time. |

I want a miniature American Eskimo dog. The place around here that has them sell them for $1300. That has a package included with it with all the care, shots, blah, blah, blah. It would be an indoor dog, but my mom hates hair everywhere.  |

This thread is amusing me. Just get a big dog if you want something like that. I mean honestly, are you going to walk it in a park and be like, "Hey, my cat can eat your cat."? No reason. If you want something exotic, tough and normal, get a Rhodesian RidgeBack. Those dogs are crazy. I guess I use to be obsessed with them when I was little. I think that hunters usually go out with a couple of them to get lions. If I remember correctly, they have normal hair, then down the middle of their back is hair in the opposite direction. They even have 2 sets of eyelids for swimming and stuff, with super webbed feet. -------------

QFT. We got our dog from the shelter, and it was very cheap (may have even been free?). She's very nice, playful, and absolutely loves attention. Only down side is that she's a pansy and afraid of dark colored clothes (we suspect this is because she was traumatized from being stuck in a sewer for a few days when she was an infant). Also, watch out for pitbulls. I've heard of many instances when pitbulls have turned on their owners out of the blue for no reason at all, and ended up killing the owners. -------------

| Love my Basset Hounds. Have the two older males left out of the 22 that left Fremont with me. Samantha our female passed over the summer, but the boys are my constant companions during the day. I just sit in mhy lounge chair playin games and the boys are laying right next to me doin what Bassets do best, sleeping. |
