So we live a good few hours from decent slopes to go snowboarding or skiing. So we get up to the mountains every once and a while, but other than that we do whatever we can with the little bit of snow that we get. So we got an inch or three and set out to do something. For us Sledding is boring, I mean it just doesn't do much for us. So, like usual we took it to the next level. We have a pretty good downhill going through some backyards in our neighborhood, but not incredibly long either. So we took a sled and tied a rope to it, and tied the other end to the seat post on my mountain bike. How can we make sledding more fun? Make it faster. Then we had an idea of making a ramp. So, we did, and coming on a sled from the top of a hill being towed by a bike can build up some speed. And for something seeming so idiotic it was a lot of fun.

You guys ever do anything like that?

I've snowboarded in a field behind a snowmobile before. THAT is a good time.

One of our next door neighbors is very pissy. She would call the cops because of noise, undoubtedly. Its not out of the ordinary if you walk through her backyard and get cursed out.

Ran down snowmen with our snowmobile so the heads rolled onto my lap while I towed both my brothers on sleds at high speeds around a track on our 1 acre property and the wooded area behind the house.

My favorite sled evar was the hood off an old car. It would even work on wet grass and 6 or more people could all be injured at once.

I suck at embedding Arrrgh! Dang all you freaking kids and your mad skillz.

I had to live in a snowy environment for a couple of months. I hated my life.

Last snowstorm we whipped quads. Tried to find any cops around town to drive by, went to the school and ripped a few donuts on the sidewalks and whatnot, then we went on the lake and snowboarded behind snowmobiles and quads. And raced on the ice.

Riding like a sled? Or standing up on it? Either way that's pretty bad ass.

Subaru + Water-Ski Tow Rope + 6" Powder + Crappy Old Snowboard + Trailer Park = Pure AWESOME!!!!!

Seriously, I used to tow guys around in my subie. They'd be hanging onto the tow-rope that was shut into the trunk of the car. I'd tow them around the trailer park and they'd hit the jumps we'd built out of old broken down cars, picnic tables, etc. It's all fun and games until someone misses their jump, lets go of the rope, and smacks into the side of a trailer at 25mph, then it's just fun.
