Wow. So easy, and the picture quality was amazing. I plugged my laptop into my projector in the basement, and hooked up the audio to my receiver. The picture quality rivaled DVD, and it is unlimited downloads... Although the selection is not that huge at the time. But, still, everytime I would get my netflix movies I'd end up not liking one and wishing I had another... Now, I can just download it while watching... Pretty cool and very easy. And with plans starting at $9. its a good deal.

 

I need to watch a new blockbuster and check that out, as I watched Dr. Doolittle from the 60's and it was in film aspect ratio and looked fine, but I want to try out something like the new batman, just to see.

And your a lazy unemployed college student... (your words not mine) I was making over $50,000 a year in college, the first student to actually make money in my schools internship program, while taking 22 credit hours per semester to graduate in 4 years, debt free.

You know what, 50K a year in college is pretty amazing, I'll give you that. If you were expecting me to get pissed, think again.

 

My college is free, I earned a scholarship by graduating with a 4.0. Not that I needed it,  I saved enough from the time I started to the time I lost my job that I'm pretty much floating free and easy with a 40K vehicle, a girlfriend, and college.

 

People like you are arrogant, self-assured, and put a bad name to the elitist ideas that you push off on society. And that's from a conservative.

 

Also, Netflix is BS.

 

I tried their streaming movies for a while, never anything good, and I always end up letting my subscription sit until eventually I cancel and start renting from the local dvd store again.

 

 

I was a professional freestyle bmx trick rider, and flatland instructor at woodward bmx camp.

I ran steadycam for film and video freelance. I was a producer, director, editor, cameraman for ETV in Oklahoma. I ran the flying camera on a  nationally televised prime time tv show. I was a freelance handheld camera operator for sports events including football, and ultimate fighting (MMA), and the miss America pagent.

 

My paid internship was a sales and training position at Fairview AFX where I beta tested ImMix and Avid nonlinear editing systems, and used my editing knowledge to implement a bunch of changes to their systems which ended up getting into the final release of the systems, many of which are still on the systems today and have been copied by almost all of the low end non-linear editing systems. Each ImMix I sold I got $8,600, and I sold 7 of them in 6 months. 

 

I was also the troubleshooter, and repair tech to support each system the company sold in our region, which covered Ark, OK, and all of TX. So many days, I would finish class, and head to work only to be told to head to the airport and fly to TX to fix an edit suite, when it was back up and running, I would fly back to school.

 

I also ran a silk screening business out of my dorm room, and later my apartment making custom t-shirts, and went to school full time. Oh, and during spring break, I worked on the major motion picture, "The Hudsucker Proxy" in Wilmington NC.
