Honest to God, this isn't the first thread like this. My whorishness must be rubbing off on people.
On that note, I luv Vikes! Haven't owned one yet, however...

I really got tired of praying every weekend that my DM5 would work, so I bought something that has a good track record. I suspect I won't have much room left for it once I get this Vike.

They look pretty boring unmilled, but they are some of the most beautiful when they have work done. I would suggest google image searching some of them.

If somebody asks you how many guns you have, and you give any of the following responses, then you are already in the club:
"Um, hold on, let me count..."
"Not sure."
"I'm pretty sure I have more than X."
"Depends on whether you count the ones that are disassembled."
"Do you mean all guns, or just the ones that work?"

Bruce, I've said all of those. On more than one occasion. Also, I once cleaned my room and found a Promaster I completely forgot I had.

The one you just got a couple months ago!?! And I'm excited to see it with some DC milling. Do you know how you wanna get it milled yet? If you have any questions on it, hit up Thotograph on MCB. I sold him my old A4 Fly, and he knows a ton about AKA markers. Anyways, I'm sure you'll like it.

I will probably go with FSP milling, but I also like the Immortal! As far as anodizing, I'm not sure what I want to do yet, but I have some ideas.
A few months ago, I saw a Viking for sale on eBay that really caught my eye. The ano was a combination of an off-white and flat black, giving a Storm-Trooper-esque feel. I'm not a huge Star Wars nerd or anything, but I liked the simplicity of it.
My second idea I'm a little more skeptical on.
I want to incorporate that into my marker. Anodizing will be powder coated white and navy blue, with that logo somewhere near the rear of the body. Body will be anodized white, reg will be navy blue. I'd probably get a 2-piece barrel and anodize the back white and the tip navy blue. It would be a one of a kind marker, with little to no market appeal, because it's such a specific theme. I don't plan on selling this soon, but if for some reason I had to, this anodizing would probably make it hard to sell.
Third idea is to go with a powder coat (perhaps gloss) black finish and laser engraving this on both sides:
I always liked the artwork that To Die For clothing comes out with, this one being my favorite. I think the cursive in solid white on a black background would look cool. Again, probably little to no market appeal, but at least it would look kinda cool.
So many options!

Nice find!
I've never heard of To Die For, but that bit of text is sorta cool. It'd look pretty nice on the side of that gun.

Maybe mine is just special then. I get it working just fine the night before I go out, don't touch it at all, and somehow when I get to the field it just leaks from some new spot. Last week it leaked from the back bolt, and it was just an o-ring, no big deal. Week before that it was leaking from the grip frame, and I thought I fixed it but I aired it up yesterday and it starting leaking from the grip AGAIN! It's probably something minor but it just doesn't work when I need it too.

That's just the thing though, I can't remember what I could have possibly done to have screwed up the solenoid. Maybe a little elf came in before I went to the field and pee'd on it.

Might just need to be cleaned and lubed up, or you might have over pressurized the gun on accident.
