Sight of this waste of skin makes me want to go snatch a cigarette out a welfare mom's hand and burn her with it.

That whole story gives me the creeps, on so many levels.

Ugh.

I know the basic story is old, but this was the first time I heard of the foreclosure. Thought is was relevant to the new plans for bailout money.

You should have seen the editorial in the Flint Journal from some pro-lifer who was going on and on about how the "Octomom" is a hero for being willing to have 14 kids.

There is this whole bizarre subculture of nutballs who think that everybody should have as many kids as they possibly can.  They freak me out, in a WBC kind of way.

To be honest I saw octo-mom and it was a reflex. I read the story and can't wait for her children to be taken from her.

I still think the doc that gave a woman without the means to support her family fertility treatment to have even more kids should lose his license. Hugely irresponsible, and places the burden on normal, contributing members of society while she reaps the benefits of having too many kids that the world doesn't need.

QFT.  If you are ever bored, and I know it's old, but go check out the Dugger(sp?) website/forum sometime. You want to talk about scary??? I can just see the doe eyed zealots sitting there hoping to lose their obese virginity to one of the nutcase spawn in order to start their own splinter cell of the cult.

Usually the people that have 14 kids are the ones that shouldn't be reproducing at all. I fail to see how pumping out children for a living constitutes heroic status. Any female with functional reproductive organs can achieve the same feat.

It's like marveling at the guy that can masterbate 14 times a day.

pbnoob - the Duggar family is what looped me into the crazy.  They are in the cult of which I speak.

Yeesh.

I knew there was a peeper in town, but thought you lived too far away.

So did I, then I bought some binoculars and almost broke my record.

What?

Perhaps he should keep his license and be saddled with child support?

(I know it's unlikely in the extreme; but it would be poetic justice.)
