I'm on Spring Break...sitting at home. If I had my passport, I would chilling in Cancun with two friends who happen to be girls. :[ I sat around and played Halo all day, then went to a D2 basketball game. ------------- Pumpker'd; (V.) I've decided I want to transfer schools. Looking primarily at MIT, secondly at Carnegie Mellon and Johns Hopkins. Got another hundred on a Diff EQ test and another A on a physics test. Played my pipes for about 3000 people with a famous (grammy winning) band last Sunday, have a competition this weekend. |

Ooooh, go to MIT. Then we can hang out on weekends.  Seriously though, I'm pretty sure transfer student numbers at all those schools are miniscule. But good luck! I understand your pain -- I think school would be bore me to death if I didn't row. Not that my grades are anything special, but that's just because I'm stupid and unmotivated. It's amazing how many people here just do schoolwork and drink. I'd drop out if that was my life, although I do wish I had the same motivation in terms of grades that people in the engineering program here have. *EDIT* Also, if you need to know anything about MIT or JHU, let me know. My girlfriend goes to the first, and I have some very good friends from high school who go to the second. ------------- BU Engineering 2012 |

Hopkins is about 100 yards from the ghetto in every direction, but that's Baltimore for you. Fantastic school, but if you're looking at engineering or other applied sciences, CM and MIT are the way to go. ------------- <Removed overly wide sig. Tsk, you know better.> |

Went to the pub last night, turns out some people I didn't invite decided to invite themselves. It wasn't all that great, as I only expected 4-6 of my close friends, and it ended up being that 6 plus another 5 whom I didn't expect/want to come. They couldn't accomidate our party for almost 2 hours until we finally got a table, and we were all spread out across the bar. Not to mention, a few of the people in our party complained about it non-stop and that got annoying fast.
All in all, my dinner was paid for. The Fish and Chips were delicious. |
