Well I think this is the final setup for my new woodsball marker.. Only change I know I will make still is to add a female palmer stab in place of the ASA. It's not a true "Mil-Sim" as I wasn't trying to make it look like any actually make or model of rifle.. More just wanted to make it look diffrent in my own unique way.

O and as you can tell in the second picture... It's actually just balancing on the back of the ASA and the back of the mag... It's weight and balance is pretty tight if you ask me...

Setup:

14" J&J ceramic barrel with Apex tip
Lapco Machine gun shroud
JCS Red Hot powertube & bolt
Standard 98c valve and not the "pressure sealed" system that came with the plat's
Titanium hammer ( I actually had one laying around and figured why not... )
Polished internals.
Wireframe stock with RVA
Rap 4 RocketCock II
R/T tuned to about 15 BPS
Archon Gravity Hopper ( and yes it actually keeps up with the R/T like a champ )
BossMan M16 Mil-Sim clip
Ground away some excess from the receivers and completely cut off old foregrip  to lessen overall weight.
Stiffer sear spring, lighter trigger spring, and added a ground washer to remove all play from trigger.
BSA red dot sight ( accurate as much as can be for a marker )
Shoots at 285 with fair amount of consistancy for running on Co2
Plan to use a remote line, and go to air soon, Might paint it in a camo as well.
Total marker weight fully loaded is a little under 7lbs

Doesn't look too bad. As long as you like it, that's all that matters.

I like the overall look.  (I think a lot of the reason I like it is related to the fact that it is unique as opposed to just being another M4/M16 clone.)

Thanks. I was trying for original.. I was thinking of fileing off the tippmann logo and custom 98 like some people do... But I kinda like them... So instead I am thinking of paining the "Apex" name, the "Tippmann" logo, and the Custom 98 like a high gloss candy apple red.... Sure not exactly camo... But hey if you can't show off a little on your marker... whats the point? :P

I love those 1911 machine gun shrouds and have had one.
I like the mag very much. The drop and asa not so much.

Like Mack, I like the uniqueness.

*edit = those little screws for the shroud are brutal on your barrel. Cry

Ya I loved the shroud as well... As for the screws I know... that is the one down side... I am looking into a cardboard spacer or maybe some sort of collapsible ring to insert in there so the screws don't make actuall contact with my barrel.

As for the Drop and ASA... yeah ASA is getting replaced with a Female Palmer Stabilizer when I can afford one lol... And depending on how it looks I may or may not just remove the drop back to the original position.
