Well, some more info. In my typical fashion, this is a "preemptive post." Well DeTrevni, I'll tell you. Pure awesome is what it is. Stock Splatties have really craptacular plastic internals.A machinist over on M. Carter Brown replaced the chumtastic plastic with machined aluminum plungers and rails. He also made a custom brass barrel. But the fun doesn't stop there, oh no DeTrevni! He also rigged up Phantom internals, i.e. the body and a cut down power tube, to work in the Splatty! What this means is a buttery smooth junker gun from the mid '80's! I can fine tune the springs and get some great performance out of this thing! I was going to make fun of you . . .then I remembered how much money I have put into a used Hammer pump I bought for $10.
I've always had that mental image of DeTrevni.
I think the DeTrevnis were as well. And . . . Detrevnis; you butter post pictures as soon as you're done. Even if the marker is only improved by a small margarine. If you don't . . . you're toast. P.S. If the work gets tough and you get into a jam, you can always come to the forum for help. -------------

I love the idea of a pusher cocking mechanism. It lets me run around the field head-butting or humping it to cock it! Fun will be had!
So, uh, what goofy color should I paint it? I'm thinking red and white Hawaiian print.
