I have a Prolite that won't re-cock when fired.
Do the Prolites require a siphon tube with CO2?
Reason is, it won't re-cock on HPA or CO2, but when I
flood the gun with CO2 it works perfectly.
The 68's required liquid CO2 but I didn't think the Prolites did.
Any help would be great
(all orings, drive spring, CO2 tanks, ....... etc, have been swapped out)

No, the Tippmann Prolite does not need a siphon tube. You can use one if you want though. I seem to remember them being recommended for cold weather play. (it has been 15 years)

a Second thought......If you flood the gun with liquid CO2 and it works, you have increased the pressure. This is normally a sign of worn orings. If your orings are good, it could meen that you have something binding (retarding, slowing the operation down). I have seen things like bent power tubes and such in the past. I would redo the hammer oring and lube the gun again first. (btw, flooding the gun with liquid co2 is the quickest way to find out if the sear is worn out. I have a box of older Tippmann orings, I'll go over it again and see.
If it doesn't work still I'll source an oring kit somewhere.

I had the same problem with mine. I solved it eventually by polishing EVERY moving part inside the gun and making sure that nothing was rubbing ANYWHERE. It now functions as intended. However, in my process i altered one of the internal pieces and now need to replace that in order to achieve any usable forward velocity. |

Anyone know where i can find a valve assembly for the Pro-Lite? They are no longer on tippmanparts.com My only other option is to use super glue to build up a portion of the valve stem that is currently worn down. (don't ask). I can't use anything from the carbine b/c it has completely different valve assembly, unless that will fit and function in place of the pro-lite's . |

TippmannParts.com only takes a stock item down when it is no longer available from Tippmann. (we try to leave notes about the items up for reference). This does not mean that someone else doesn't have some. Sometimes Mcarterbrown forums are a good place to find odd parts.

| So does anyone know if the Carbine's valve assembly will fit inside a pro-lite? (as in, replacing the whole assembly) If so, that would probly be the easiest fix to my current problems. |
