I'm new here, and I would like to start participating in this fascinating game. I was thinking about buying this set US ARMY Alpha Black Tactical Tippmann Paintball Gun. Now in your opinion should I buy the set or just the guy and the additional accessories separetly or buy a different gun.

any help is appreciated. thx in advance

Buy the marker and get your accessories seperately. The mask in particular that comes with the package sucks. You will replace it very shortly. Invest in a good mask, it is worth every penny.

Use the search button and you will find answers to most of the obvious questions such as this. Also read the stickies in each of the forums. Very useful info.

I'd go with the stock gun and get the accessories seperately. Better to start off basic I say. I think that way you kind of learn to respect the upgrades more. Not that that's a big deal though.

First, it's not a helmet, it's a mask. And there is a sticky in the New Players forum called "which mask is right for you?' General rule of thumb is to buy a mask with thermal lenses.

as far as accessories go it would be sn=mart to get the afterwards unless you mean the bodykit with the AB. I would just get the full blown tactical one. As far as the mask goes I love vforce masks. they are comfy and have good visibility.
