We are getting a bunch of HS kids at our church to play some paintball in a friends woods.  What are some games that they will like to play.  I have three right now
 
1 -- "Normal" capture the flag
2 -- Capture the flag where you put the flag in the middle and first to take it back to base wins
3 -- Manhung -- the YM is the hunted -- give him 5 minutes to hide and then we hunt him.  If he shoots you, you are out.  He can get shot multiple times
 
What else can you guys recommend?  It is just woods, so no big Spools to use, blow ups, etc.

well, without structures, attack and defend would be pretty tough. Maybe zombie, everytime someone is hit, they run to the base of the opposing team adn switch sides, if they get shot in the head, they're out.

Is that really a game that pastors should be playing with the young male parishioners?

On a serious note, reconsider the last game as being shot repeatedly and only having one target that can't be taken out tend to make for less enjoyable games.   I was going to try suggesting a better way to play it, but frankly I don't think there is one.  (It's just not a game I find enjoyable.)  You could try breaking everyone into two person teams and they can shoot anyone but their partner.  We've done a version of this game we called "counting coup" where everyone had an armband and dropped it where they were shot.  The armband can be collected by anyone (whether they shot them or not) but once it is collected it goes in the collectors pocket.  The team with the most armbands at the end of the game wins.

Oh, and in regards to my game suggestion above, counting coup is best played with a time limit.  (We did 30 minutes, but I think the time should be adjusted based on the number of teams.)

hunt the bunny if great fun, in a large group of about 20 people, 2 of 'em go out and be bunnies and hide somewhere on the field. everyone else goes around hunting them. if a hunter is shot, he becomes a bunny. if a bunny is shot, then hes out. its pretty fun when the bunnies wear ghillie suits in a smaller field with a slightly smaller group.

Try playing president. Its a lot of fun. If u dont know what Im talking about basic rules r this: two teams one secret service the other al qaeda. the secret service guys have the presdent who has to wear bright clothing and is unarmed. the secret service has to get the prez form point A to point B without getting the prez killed. al qaedas goal is to kill the prez.

you cn try playing predator one guy/girl starts out on their own then after a 10 to 15 min wait the rest go on the hunt the pred can only be killed if shot in the head but if the pred gets you right there you as well become a pred and can light up your once teammates we found that this game helps your team keep their eyes and ears open and watch each others back as well as a little paranoira. just a thought for ya bud

A lot of the time we play prison break.  We have an old dog kennel we dragged into the middle of the woods.  One or a few people can be prisoners and then you have a team of guards.  The other team has to get to the prison, break the prisoners out, and finally take them back to base.  If you are playing with multiple prisoners one or two prisoner casualties are acceptable.  One shot for prisoners to be out and 2 for the rescuing team.  This game works best with at least 10 or more people.

We play a game we call SPY.It's basically a capture the flag game but with a twist.Before we start,we all draw a piece a paper form a hat and  whoever gets the ones with an X on it are the spies.There's usually 2 spies,so there's can be 1 spy  or 2 spies per team.The spy's job is to get the team's flag that he's "spying" on, to the other team's base.It's quite funny,nobody trust nobody.talk about paranoia!!!!

heres some i like to play
 
1) Down but not out: So once your hit you kneel and have your gun raised and then in order to get back in a team mate must tag you (you can put a time limit on this and make it basic elim. or have unlim time) its basically like freeze tag
 
2)Crit. Hits. One hit in the head-dead, two hits either on the torso or back-dead, any hits on arms legs and guns do not count
 
3)Zombies-like 5 on 15 the 5 can only be killed by head shots, once your tagged (human) you beacome a zombie
 
4) Reverse-even teams then once you get tagged you go to the other side and shoot the team you were just on
 
5)President- 1 president 1/5 of the players are "marines or S.S." and everyone else is an opfor and the object is to get the president from one side to the other without dying marines have two lives opfor have one
 
6) Four corners-usally for small groups but could work with a large group...you start in a corner and its a free for all
 
7)Musical bunkers-exactly what it sounds like have 30sec at each bunker before you have to move else you are automativcally out
 
8)Pistols only
 
9)Dueling
 
10)CTF- flags in the middle, have to get one flag to the enemies base.

Well most of these guys mentioned all of them :)
 
me and buddies usually 10 or more.......use that freeze tag style type of game
(when ur hit...u kneel down and raise ur gun right where ur shot)
 
we put the teams ammo supply out in the field...(usually each person has like a box)
 
the two teams can place there ammo supply anywhere they want..its best if u place ur supply as far away from the enemies supply spot
 
now the whole reason for this is that ............... u can only carry paint in ur hopper
 
so like 200 paintballs.....its awesome
 
example :)
6 on 6
both team place there supplies close to there side near the 50 mark....(or half of the playing field)
...the teams start out moving as a team not really rushing it...when the teams meet...they exhange fire...and usually the guy who shoots the most needs to pull back first.....so a few guys leave to go re-suppply....the other team pushes the other team back a few yards and revives there fallen team mates.......now the other team is low on ammo......((((if they all leave...the enemy can rush right behind them)))(((((if only  a few of them leave,chances r when they come back there comrades will need to be revived)))) NOBODY WANTS TO BE IN THE GROUP THAT GETS LEFT BEHIND.........so they all decide to run back...kinda leap frogging it back trying to conserve ammo...they make it back to the resupply....and when they turn around...they find the enmy has retreated back to its own base to resupply as well......//////the games awesome...it makes the games have more movment

One of the ones we enjoy playing is VIP
Rules:
-1 Person acts as a VIP and cannot shoot
- The counter-Terrorist team must protect the VIP from being shot\
- The Terrorists much kill the VIP before him/her reaches the extracation point

I play King of the Hill,  about 1/3 of the people defend a bunker and the rest try to kill them. If you have 10 foot rule then you can tag the bunker and the one inside closest to you is out. But then you have to run awaqy and hope you dont get shot. usually the defending team loses. its a hard game.

Do that with a time limit so that the defending team can have a chance to hold them off, or play till the offense touches the fort or something.

Me and my freinds play a game where you can get hit as many times as you want but when you run out of ammo your out and if you give up your out
