so i used to build models as a kid, mostly WW2 fighters and bombers, a few ships and cars though.
now that ive been cutting apart warships and patching them back together ive found its not much different. theres no pins though, and the glue (liquid metal) actually irritates skin on contact. well we got BSing today about building a small 70-100' small attack craft for killing pirates. that conversation quickly changed to drinking on pontoon boats, and how easy one would be to make... initial investment would be 5k, +3k matl, and potential sale price of new boat + trailer would be ~10k+ depending on how much we put into it. ~21' boat with a single outboard and some simple crap on the deck... after initial investment it would be about 2500-3k and sale price of 10k+ we would have to have the alum rolled for the pontoons but after that its just cut and paste. maybe have the deck sprayed with some nonskid crap. now this is probably just a pipe dream and probably not the best time to get into a luxury sales buisness. |
