| some one please help me i am choping and curving with my X7 with a flatline barrel i have no idea what it could be i turned down my velocity and it still curvs and i have no idea what could make it chop so if any one has any ideas im open |

Where exactly is the broken paint at? I would also recommend firing through the stock barrel and then the Flatline and comparing results. (If the problem only happens with the F/L then you know for sure that is the issue.) -------------

| The flatline is supposed to put a spin on the ball. That is what makes it go further than other barrels. If you break a ball in the gun somewhere, the left over residue will cause the barrel to send the paint everywhere. Any time you get a break, run a squeegee and then swab it once or twice. |

You need to get all of the paint out of the barrel. After extremely bad F/L breaks, I squeegee several times, spray water through the barrel (off the gun) and squeegee again. I also wash the barrel out with a warm water and dish soap to dissolve any buildup that may be stuck inside it at the end of the day. I would recommend decreasing velocity to 260 fps and slowly working up from there. My experience with the early 98 F/L barrels was that they worked best in the mid 270s. My experience with the A5 F/Ls was that they worked best in the mid 260s. Not having used an X7 F/L I can't say for sure what velocity is best for them, but my bet is that yours is too high. -------------

the flatline just tilts the barrel "up" and also putting backspin. (destroying barrel thread on my part.) the flatline might be chopping balls because of cheap paint. ------------- FORUM snowboarding |

also make sure you properly installed the barrel... any gap between the barrel the breech will result in breaks. ------------- Xbl:PhantomReign97

Well, If the X7's flatline is like the 98's, it'll be uberly hard to adjust perfectly... But I've never even shot an X7 so I dont know.. lol

| when i first got my flatline i always broke balls about every four shots. Check where the paintball is being broken at if it is not being broken at the bolt then the problem is probably the paintball is breaking in the flatline at the barrel curves up. the way i fixed it was to use different paint (not the cheap stuff). This is how i fixed my problem |

| Also, check the caliber to bore size. The flatline usually works best with slightly smaller caliber paint. |
