Ok I recently bought an Alpha Black, took it out, using Monster Balls, yeah I know didn't research 1st, just thought cheap what the heck. Anyway had a great day only one chop all day, bout 1200 balls. Was doin some research and decided to get Cyclone Feed, took it out and tested it, and its chopping like every 5th ball or so. Its not chopping in the cyclone but in the barrel, same case of balls. Confused. So balls be the problem, maybe the cyclone messing w/ shell integrity? I was thinking of trying RPS Stingers. Hope the Cyclone wasn't bad investment really like the concept. I only play woodsball and like to shoot Big Grin so $60+ a case for balls isn't an option. Any help, advice would be great, were supposed to play this weekend. Oh yeah using C02 if that matters.

Check the air fittings.  If you have an air loss it could be that their is insufficient pressure making it to the cyclone for it to operate properly.

Also, what was the temp when you were playing?

Cheap Paint shreds in the cycloned ABT's. As Mack stated double check your fittings and then check your velocity.

It hasn't been over 70 here yet I live in Montana, and checked everything no leaks, also I forgot to mention I have a 12" J&J ceramic on it if that matters

on a 98 with a cyclone, or an alpha with a cyclone rigged on, there is room for two balls in the gun.  i.e. one in the breach, and one in the neck ready to load.  If you do not have the second ball loaded, it takes too long for the ball to enter the breach and the bolt will chop it in half.

When you load your paint, cock the gun, and hit the manual feed botton twice.  That will load 2 balls into the neck of the gun.  Your problem should be solved...  It worked for me once I figured it out.

I dought it's the paint.  Monster Balls should be recalled because they DON"T break.  The shell is soft and squishee, so they bounce off other players like rubber balls.  Anyone who has ever been shot with Monster Balls knows, they feel like rubber balls when they hit you.  I get MAD at players who bring Monster Balls.

Ok well I finaly got a chance to go out an try the stingers. Shot over 1000 balls yesterday and not a single break. So I got rid of the monsters and am not turning back. Thanks to all who responded for the advice, its greatly appreciated.
