Downloaded FarCry 2 last night, on Troops recomendation (he has it on xbox). Having fun being a mercenary, missed my calling. Completing missions and just being a general PIA for all the groups. Have a M1903, RPG-7, M1911, and my rep is as an assasin. Have already cleaned out a few villes of badguys at range, and I do not know if the AI is that bad, but you shoot one from range and they all group around, and I do a one tap, two tap and wait and they assemble again, strange.
Know it is old, but fun. Still flying Aces High II (real good ground attack, but poor fighter jock), and Combat Arms, with new changes OK but still hacker heaven, but we have a group that plays together in locked games so we can have clean games. I also am BETA testing another UBISOFT game, interesting concept of gladitorial combat (all I can say). Start as initiate and advance till killed, so far I have made 22 appearences before the emporer in the main arena, no losses. I am a murmillo (heavy gladius) and have so far kicked butt, I see a winner in this game, ends today, hopefully will be released soon. -------------

Gladiator games are either hit or miss, but this one sounds promising. FC2 is a fun game. I rented it a while ago but never had much time to play. ------------- Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good. |

God, I'm tired of Ubisoft. They ruined a great series (Rainbow 6) and made it a dumbed down FPS.
If you want an fun, old game, R6: Rogue Spear. Or SWAT 4. Both those games still give me a run for my money in difficulty. -------------

| I cant say i really cared for FC2. I was absolutely in love with FC1, but after that they lost me. Something about having to shoot a guy 20+ times with a 9mm at point blank before he dropped got annoying after a while. |

I played all the way through FC2, and while I enjoyed it, it wasn't really that great. I was just too lazy to do anything else. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is pretty enjoyable though. Granted, the series is no longer a tactical shooter. ------------- BU Engineering 2012 |
