Our little group plays a lot of pump only games.  The problem is, not everyone has a pump and they are harder to find these days.  I promise any paintballer out there, there is nothing more fun than "pump-only" games.  Another issue is the cost of owning more than one gun.  I think it would be a great idea to build a combo gun that can easily be swithed from a pump gun to a semi-auto.  It could easily be styled after the old Carbine, I always loved that gun.

Why would you play pump? It just slows down your BPS...

I second that... I can use my autococker with the pnuematics or the pump kit I have.

A gun is not a weapon... It's a tool. Like a butcher knife, or a harpoon, or...uh, a...an alligator.

mavric/trracer. for the price of a case of paint you can have your self a half decent pump. and you will make your money back by not shooting as much.

Pump games are fun.  You can almost walk around the field without too much worry.  The idea is that everyone is shooting a pump.  I have a 98C that will throw 15 BPS.  At a certain point it just costs too much.  Our group can go play a day of pump, and have a whole day of fun with around 500 rounds a piece.  Not to mention, you'll never get over shot at a pump game.

If you've never played a pump only game or limited technology game, (no batteries, assisted loaders, or assisted triggers), I urge you to go try one, it is in many ways more fun than the heavy fire power games.

I own 2 SL-68 II's.  But there are a lot of people who want to come to our pump games and they don't have a pump gun.  I was thinking a gun that could easily switch between modes would be a good primary gun for people.  That way they can play any kind of game and only own one gun.

I know RAP makes a pump action shotgun. The tank is in the stock so no worries about a remoe either. Plus it looks cool.
Enjoy
