Going home on friday to Charleston, WV. There are 3, count 'em 3 Timmy Ho's in the area now. What should I have? Never been there before.

Get a sandwich, a double double, and some donuts I guess. Or wait, get timbits, not donuts.
Or soup, the soup is good.

Be ready for a disappointment of coffee and donuts/baked goods that are previously frozen then defrosted in store then dipped in glaze and put on the shelf for sale...

Large double double,  boston cream donut, maybe the chicken bacon swiss sandwich.

Timmys sucks

I am voting Andy as the forums newest, indiest indie kid. You're hating on hockey and tim hortons, too cool for school.

Ahhh yes, Andy, the anti-Canadian Canadian. You hate hockey, hate Tim Horton's and would get along with most people in the wilds of Idaho, Montana, or WV. Why don't you just go ahead and make the move to the States?

I'm taking off to the wilds of Saskatchewan soon.

Timmys is way over hyped. They used to be good when they actually cooked their breads and donuts in house. But ever since then the product has gone down hill

Local coffee shops and donuts shops ftw

Indie and "Internet cool" are not the same thing.

I've long accused him of trying too hard to be Internet cool. Cue the stick-shift threads and pictures of his back.

XL double double, or L single single. Not a big food eater at Tim Horton's.

Double double being 2 and 2, I know it sounds stupid but it bit
me in the ass once in New York when I ordered a DD, omg sugar.

Their sandwiches are good, so are the majority of their baked goods if you hit them at the right time.

Just drink black coffee otherwise, all coffee tastes the same.

The fact you can't get it elsewhere makes it worth trying. Same with ketchup chips or Canadian Smarties.

A large double double for your coffee.

The Chili is quite good.

No, same size. Different taste. Lighter sort of chocolate I think, a bit sweeter.

The ice cap is always a solid choice... as are the sandwiches. I'm a BLT fan myself... in fact, I think I just decided on breakfast LOL.

We should combine the two smarties into super smarties... (suparties?). Bigger rockets, hollowed out and filled with chocolate, then coated with the candy from a smartie. Good idea, or great idea?

I get a XL regular when ever I go, but am starting to have a beef with timmies. There screwing us people, every freaking mm we give they take an inch. Has any body noticed THE BOTTOM OF THE CUPS? The Bottoms are being raised so noone really notices. One L or XL pays for the whole pot and they continually screw us raising prices and giving less of a product and all that b.s. EVERYTHING has become smaller, (maybe not the soup bowls)

I dunno, Mc donalds had a promotion not long ago giving away coffees and I can honestly say I liked it just as much. Cheaper prices for larger cups.

I've lost my faith in the timmies. Just not the same.

Dude, everything's like that.

I remember when a normal large bag of Lay's chips was 290g. Now it's down to 235g in the same sized bag.

Frito-Lay is doing a promotion where from June until September, all bags will increase 20% in volume and stay the same price.

I heard the pitch on the radio the other day, talking about how it is the company's gift to people suffering the recession.

Yeah, what a load of crap. That means the original packaged volume from a few years ago, that we paid less for than the lesser amount we pay more for now.
