Running their classic war movie marathon all weekend. I grew up watching these movies, the old black and white ones with actual combat footage and real acting. My grandfather served in the Pacific during the second world war, and when I was a kid he had dozens of these old movies that he'd make copies of and send to us. Great stuff. I could watch "Midway" and "They Were Expendable" a thousand times and never get tired of them. Anyone else have their favorites or am I stuck in the cinematic stone age all by myself? ------------- ? |
