A friend of mine gave me this old thing today. I know nothing about cockers, but I figured now might as well be a good time to learn. I'd like to see if it still works, but I guess I won't be able to until I get a new HPA tank, as my old one was ninja'd by some dude 5 years ago.
Anyone know anything about old cockers, or what this one is exactly? It says "The 1994 Zap International Amateur Open 10 Man Event".

id say its an old WGP right hand feed. circa 1993-1994 as per the laser engraving.
uses Pre-2k parts: front and rear blocks, banjo bolt for fron block, bolt
pretty standard.
not hard to figure out how to fix it if it doesnt work.

Hm. Does it have the stock internals? Pneumatics? I'm going to assume the date on the engraving is correct, and if it is a '94, they had Sheridan springing, and loved CO2. What's under the shroud?
As for the engraving, I've heard about the IAO 'cockers, but don't know if they're worth anything. I'll have to check.
BTW, for a random tidbit of info, mini 'cockers had their own line of serial numbers. if it were a standard, that would put it at about '89, which I know is not the case.

edit:

The parts to the right are spares that came with it. Like I said, I don't know anything about Autocockers, so I'm afraid I can only give basic information. Can anyone link me to a good resources, parts diagrams, or information regarding autocockers from this time period, or just autocockers in general?

Not really. There were a few differences between the older 'cockers and the newer ones. The one you have (probably) doesn't have a hole drilled for hammer adjustment or threaded IVGs. The IVG is the velocity adjuster in 'cockers. In the older ones, there was an insert in the back of the body. It works the same way, but it's a different system since it used the thinner Sheridan springs. Also, since there is most likely no hammer adjustment hole in the top of the body, to adjust the lug, you will have to take the frame off. A bit of a hassle...

^One of which had better be muh Sniper.
That's a nice hand-me-down. You should to get it working (if it isn't at the moment) as cockers are a lot of fun.

Well, seeing as how it's a prize gun, I would look up who won the 10 man at the '94 IAO for a start and see if you can get a lead on which team won the mini-cockers as their prize. If it was someone like bad company or the likes, you've got a piece of major history on your hands.
Definitely check the top tube between the rails and see if there's a little hole drilled there. That particular back-block style is indicative of the mid-90's and later (earlier 'cockers had a squared off back block) and the pneumatics appear to be mid-90's as well, which would keep with the '94 IAO theme since the IAO was always late in the year and THE showcase to bring out the latest and greatest products you'd come up with.
Someone had a rock or jackhammer I/II on that thing before. See the x-cut hole in the shroud. That was to let the knob poke through to adjust it on the fly.

Definitely leave the shroud off that thing, its beat and you can't see all the neat pnuematics.

There is no hole between the sight rails, IIRC. I'm at work right now, but I'll check when I'm home.
And yes, I believe you can see the original Rock next to the gun in one of the pics.

I think it's wicked awesome that that Tourney guy on the Autococker is holding what looks to be a first generation stingray.

I'll see if Todd or Mike Peverill remember. Hell, it might have been Mike since Bad Company was on a roll back then. Of course, it may take me a week or two to get a hold of them again.

Hey Benj,
Read this:

Doesn't say who won or anything, but names some of the teams involved in the 10-Man event.
