uhmm.. I dont have an e-grip so someone who has one could give more information.

But.. From what i understand is green means its ready to fire. Have you shot it at all? Does it shoot?

When you change modes it reflects that with the light and then goes back to green to show ready.

So if you turned it on, it shows red, then green for on in semi.
Push it again and you get two orange flashes showing 3 shot safety (PSP3) and then it goes to green to show ready and so on for the other modes.

Know what I mean?

When you push it for a second to turn it on, it turns on in semio auto.

Once the green light is on showing ready, push the button in once more and release.
The light should blink twice orange before going to green. The two orange indicate 3 shot
safety or PSP3

Pushing it again after the green shows moves you on to the next mode, and so on.

I use PSP, so I turn it on, and when it shows green, I push it once more.

Hope that helps you out.

what if when I shoot with CO2 on and everything is ready and its on the three shot burst but only shoots one and then you just hear the three little clicks after that. What does that mean?

dead battery.

Buy a different battery from a different store, that's not on sale, and put it in.

Quick tip:  A lot of batteries have "datecodes" on them indicating when they were produced. They are usually on the bottom of the battery and often 4 digits. The first two indicating month and the second two indicating year. Sometimes this is reversed. I.e. 0406 would be the 4th week of 2006, or 5209 woudl be the last week of 2009 etc. Try to get a battery within 1year or less.

well I have a question i went to my local paintball shop and showed them this problem that i had which it was only shooting in auto mode. So the guy told me to switch the sear from the one that the e grip came with which was just a circle in which the little pin went into and he told me to switch it to the factory sear which is a more oval one. Is he right?

No. The one with the perfect circle is specifically for the E-grip.  Also, if you don't hear a clicking noise, than the e-grip isnt working. Dead battery or defective.
