Decided to put on some new rims for the truck. Not one for big rims or big flash i decided on 15/8 unique series 287 in matt black (same as the cragar soft 8's). I gona use the stock rims for winter tires now.

Really happy with the look next up is a custom single side sweeped exhaust (with flowmaster 40series muffler).  Eventually i will install new 1:7 roller rockers,  a K&N drop in air filter(the stock setup is a cold air intake) and super chips programmer (firm up the transmishions shifts and tune it for the freer breathing engeine.  I also need to tint the windows and i cant decided weather to put a cap on it or not.

But any ways heres a few pics of it currently

And one of the truck with the stockers.

Looks WAY better the other way. The new ones just look like your hubcaps fell off.

not realy, your the kind of person who likes the MX-5.  celicas & eclipses make great time attack, auto-x, and endurance cars beacouse of their stiff frames and suspension geometry.

Ugh the only thing worse than tacky cheap looking wheels is wheels that are drilled to be multi-lug. They look horrible.

I'm not even sure if my car has all the original parts for the hubcap or rim or whatever is supposed to be down there.

I'm just happy it goes forward and backwards.

Yeah, but drag races only test one aspect of driving.

Since when have you driven on a road without curves?

Im not a big fan of black rims. But, I will say, I have the 40series flowmasters on my truck, and I love them. They have a really good sound. Get them in stainless steel, their only about 5 or 10 bucks extra, and theyll last a lot longer.

and thats the one aspect i was taking about from the start.

and yomillio, thats not what i was talking about. i never said anything about driving on a road with no curves. i was talking about how they measured acceleration and whatnot.

Because fools think straightline speed = good car. Or that straightline speed = fast car. NO. If your car can only do 10mph around a corner while another can triple that, in many situations the overall slower car will be quicker, as it's not stop start stop start stop start. Yes it may be faster in a straight line, but who cares?

My Hyundai Tiburon in Need For Speed 2 was a BEAST on highways, but I struggled to dominate on the really tiny courses.
