Hey, sorry for posting a non-Tippmann here, but you guys have been so helpful with my 98c that I figured I get the best results here for my Triad. My VL Triad has recently not been staying cocked when the marker automatically re-cocks it. I've been using it on both CO2 and HPA tanks (both of which were full) and it fires, and then it pushes the bolt back, and then the bolt just goes right back forward again. It still fires one ball fine, but then you have to re-cock it. Is this something easy enough that I could fix? Should I bring it into a local store and have them check it out? Does anyone know if this problem is even fixable? Thanks for any help!

Yea man i say take it to your nearest paintball store and have them take a peek at it. When my marker broke i took it to a paintball store near my house,pb matirx, and they repaired it for a small fee. so i say thats your best bet their bud. Hope your gun gets fixed

Strictly a guess, as I am not familiar with the marker, but it appears to be a sear tripper, similiar to a Tippmann. If that is the case, a common reason for this issue is either a warn sear or bolt. Take the marker apart, and see if you can notice wear on the edge of the sear that catches on the bolt and check for the same wear on the bolt. If there is wear, it could keep the bolt from catching. Also another problem, could be he spring that pushes the sear back into place could be losing it's spring. Again, these are just guesses gleened from looking at a parts diagram for the marker, but would probably be good places to start. You could get it teched at a PB shop, but you may want to check and see how much the hourly rate is or what a diagnostic will cost.
