Well i just recently started my newest 98C project and I have some questions. I bought an Empire Inline reg and i was wondering if the output on the reg was 0-500psi, do i need a LPK to have it operate? I have the 1/8 hoses too. Also, my response has been firing once and thats it and then when i release the trigger it just clicks. Any thoughts? Also, i have to re-cock it after each shot. Also, if i have a double trigger with a magnetic sear and trigger, is it possible to walk it? Thanks.

Tippmanns are designed to operate with high pressure regulators. Typically 650+. You may get basic operation at 500psi, but doubtful that you could RT at that pressure or power your cylcone. Also, are you using HPA or CO2? Not all requlators are designed to operate with CO2. I know Palmers does, but not sure about Empire. You may want to check. If you do want to operate at that low of a PSI, you will need to look into an LPK. And considering they have been discontinued, you may have a harder time locating one and if you do, be prepared to pay $120+... Additionally, some people have reported issues with trying to operate a Cylcone feed and RT with an LPK. If you are running CO2, you may be better off just ditching the regulator.

I am using HPA and I see what you're saying. If I were to buy a Maddmann Spring kit would that help? Also, I am running an ACT Marker and I cant use the hammer and rear cocking mechanism. Will this hinder the LP perk?

Reason the LPK works is due to the lighter valve spring and lighter bolt/hammer. Not sure exactly how it will work without the lighter bolt and a stronger main spring. Someone else may have to step in here. You could buy the parts to make it non-ACT.... If you already have a Cyclone it really isn't doing much. If it were me, I would simply get rid of the regulator and get a high pressure one. Unless of course you have a Low pressure regulator on the tank.

I think it would be the easiest. To be totally honest, you really don't need the Palmers either.
