Then you would probably know Red Sox is the name, not the Red Sox's

Any list for possible contenders that contains the White Sox makes me lol.
EDIT: That is actually a horrible list. How can you have three teams from the AL East, one of which is 2 games under .500 and in 4th place. How can you include the White Sox? Seriously? They are a .500 team at best and like Toronto isnt leading their division or wild card. Also, only one NL team? Wait, nevermind. Zero NL teams because I dont know who the Dogers are.

One of our sports teams needs to win this year, and seeing as the Pistons and Wings are done already, it's up to the Tigers.
No one expects the Lions to win a game, let alone make it to the post-season.

I am forced to acknowledge the obvious, but well played, pun.
While I am a Kansas City Royals fan*, I really do not enjoy major league baseball that much. I have discovered however that I really enjoy going to minor league games even when teams are playing that I have no preference for who wins.
*This is an exercise in frustration. My daily mourning ritual includes checking the standings on the sports page and saying "Yeah, they still suck."

I'm happy with the acquisition of Kazmir.
As die hard Angel fan , Ive learned not to get my hopes up when they are playing the Red Sox in the first round. So if they do get past them , I'll be pleasantly surprised. The Angels are proven Yankee killers in the past, so if they do make it out of the first round, look out.

You should do some research before you make a statement like that. He has been dominant on the Angels. they have only averaged about 2.8 runs in his starts though, giving him a record of 2-2. BUT his ERA since joining the Angels is something like 2.08 .
My point is he doesn't suck . At all.

Thats for one game..a game that he received a no decision and the Angels won. Kazmir was 10-9 with a 4.89 ERA on the season. It isnt anything spectacular but a good number 4 or 5 starter on any team in the MLB. Plus hes pretty young and 25.
