This is my "TippMann Alpha Black" and "TippMann SSL-200 E-Hopper."

I wanted a "Mil-Sim" right off the bat, that wasn't going to blow a hole in my wallet all at once... When looking for a paintball marker I was looking for low-maintenance and consistency... not speed...

It's semi-auto and I'm looking at prices of an e-trig, but I would only use 3 shot burst so it might just be a waist of money.

I got the "best" hopper I could find for what I need and the price... It shoots 15 bps no need for anything more. I saw great reviews on both the hopper and the semi-auto Alpha Black on (www.pbreview.com) so I am very happy with my first set-up.
I will be looking to this forum in the future for ideas on my "next step" or next marker to get...

PS. I also wanted the hopper with the bend sensor so I don't waist batteries.

These are a great marker, as you say "right outta the box Milsim".

Should give you tons of trouble free fun.

Get a cyclone feed system!! They work much better than electronic feeders.  You dont have to worry about batteries.

Really? Considering a stock Cyclone maxes out at 15-20bps, and there are many hoppers that will feed 30+ out of the box, how do you figure? Also, you can't use a Cyclone feeder on other brands of markers if/we you upgrade.

With that said, I do like Cyclones as well, but more for the lower profile especially when used with an X7 hopper.

You are off to a nice start.

The BPS capabilities of a loader argument is hardly going to be an issue in this case.  The Tipmon loader is most likely a great match for the gun.

Nice pick-up Troopr!!.

Set-up Up-Date:
My first game was last Saturday. It went for 3hours strait and we played I don't know how many games.

I had no chops and my Tippmann Hopper Worked flawlessly... The battery in it is still pretty fresh after 3hrs...

3 out of 5 shots hit where I wanted. and with semi-auto, I don't feel the need to get an e-grip.

At 5 bps I was using up ammo like crazy I can't imagine if I was to use full-auto....

Full-Auto = Waist of Money (just my opinion)

ps. I got out 3-4 times and I marked 5 ppl...

A cyclone feed system would be great 4 a alpha black.  If u want to you can even upgrade your cyclone feed system to feed more bps in the future.  But it is a great gun, and if u are looking for more fire power, a nice alternatice to the egrip is a response trigger.  You can adjust it to any speed of fireing you wanted.

alpha black cant take a response trigger

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

I just bought a 14-inch opsgear barrel, hpa tank, and cover... =D

The drop down was a pain, only thing the store had to mount the tank,... going to get a quick disconnect and a standard mount...

Yeah, just grab a new drop and ASA when you can, or just get a remote line and put your stock ASA back on there.

Other than that, it looks pretty good.

actually im pritty sure they can because they use the same basic stuff as a tippmann 98.

as far as mods i would look to see if your alpha black as the ACT bolt in it or if it is possoble to instal it. (altho it seems u dont need it if u dont have it since you say u havent had any breaks.)

The standard Alpha Black / Bravo One can not take the R/T Upgrade without modification to the receivers. Thus voiding the 2 year warranty.

The Project Salvo Markers and it's international counterpart do take the R/T upgrade as a drop in modification.

Both of my Alpha Black and the Project Salvo have ACT in them. And I use Cyclone with one and a Hopper with the Other. It's a great marker system.
