| Ok, so I ended up with two Halo hoppers and noticing that there are some differences between the two. One I know is a V35, with speed feed and rip drive. The other seems to be a plain Jane model. I can understand not having some upgrades, but surprised to find tha one has a totally different shell than the other. The one with the options has a two piece shell with a top and bottom, and both a battery compartment and access to the electronics, while the other has a two peice side/side shell with only a battery door access. Is one a newer model? I did notice on the upgraded one that it has "PL" on the top. Can the shells or rip drive be swapped? |

The one with the top and bottom shells was never standard. They are Hybrid suicide shells. Made for easier cleaning and whatnot. The whole thing can be swapped out with either shell. ------------- Que pasa?

Actually I think they're Powerlyte shells, hence the 'PL'. Different than Hybrid, but obviously still aftermarket. Everything else that Jmac said is correct. -------------
