I just bought a new TPX pistol. The gun does not work properly. The CO2 cartridge gets punctured properly and the marker fires - but after 9-12 shots it stops shooting. Sometimes the gun just fires one shot and then stops.

I then have to remove the CO2 cartridge as described in the manual. A tried 5 cartridges - all the same. 9-12 shots and that's it.

I disassembled the gun, completely cleaned, checked all o-rings, re-lubed everything and put it back together. No change. After 9-12 shots, the gun won't fire anymore. Still the cartridge provides pressure.

Any ideas?

This happened to me also, check the firing pin in the firing valve. Mine was bent an i had to straighten it out after that it shot fine. Hope that helps.

The gun is at 260fps (holded it pretty consistent).
As I wrote in my follow-up post, the gun now only fires a single shot and then stops.

Call Tippmann Costumer Support, Don't email them you will get a faster response. Tell them of your problem, you might need to ship your gun in. But I am certain that they will make it right or replace your Marker.

Again bummer dude, nothing more heartbreaking than having your new Marker Crap out on you.
