I put a wgp select fire epansion chamber on my tippmann a5   will this work or

will it mess with operation of the gun ? Help plz !

I'm assuming from your post that you took an expansion chamber off of a WGP marker and put it on an A5.  The first bit of advice I will offer is to make sure it is an expansion chamber and not a regulator.  (A pic would help us tell if you are not sure.  If you can't post a pic, then be very specific about the marker it was originally on.)

Okay, just based on the fact that most Autocockers come regulator-equipped rather than expansion chamber equipped, I am leaning toward saying that is a reg. 

Short version of difference between reg and x-chamber:
  • X-chambers are designed to promote the evaporation of liquid CO2 into gaseous form before it enters the marker. 
    • They do this by exchanging heat between the outside air and the CO2. 
      • This is why some have fins on the outside.  (The fins increase the surface area for heat absorption.)
      • The "cold hands" that some people whine about with x-chambers is not necessarily a bad thing because this means the user is adding body heat to the process to speed up CO2 evaporation.  (This is one of the benefits of the x-chambers that double as fore grips.)
    • An average expansion chamber consists of multiple chambers connected in a line by small openings. 
      • These chambers provide a reservoir for liquid CO2 (if necessary) and are where the heat exchange takes place.  (This not only allows liquid CO2 to evaporate, but also allows CO2 that is not fully expanded (evaporated) to expand further for maximum efficiency.
      • The small openings are designed to allow the passage of gaseous CO2 while inhibiting the passage of liquid CO2.
      • Some expansion chambers, if used with compressed air, can actually restrict the propellant flow enough to cause gas starvation problems.
  • Regulators are designed to alter the delivery pressure of propellant.  (Note, that the reg can only decrease the delivery pressure below the pressure delivered by the tank, they can't increase it.)
    • For instance, a high pressure tank (with a delivery pressure of approximately 850 psi) could be attached to a regulated marker that requires low pressure and the regulator would reduce the output pressure down to a safe level for the marker in question.  (Anything from 200 psi to around 450 psi.)
    • Regulators come in two general types; adjustable and non-adjustable.  The adjustable ones allow the user to alter the output pressure while the others don't.
    • Some regulators do not work well with CO2 because when liquid CO2 gets inside them it freezes up the internals and they either fail to regulate pressure or (more commonly) fail to deliver any propellant at all until they thaw out.
I probably should have mentioned earlier that high pressure tanks have regulators tend to deliver in the 850 psi range, the low pressure tanks deliver in the 400 psi range and there are even mid-range regs on tanks that put out around 650 psi.  CO2 can fail to deliver any pressure (at freezing temperatures) or (in much warmer weather) can deliver up to 1800 psi (which is where the burst disk blows out.)

Now that I went over necessary background material, I'll try  answer your question a little better.  Putting that reg on your A5 will not damage it.  However, if the reg delivers at a lower pressure than the 800 psi or so that Tippmanns need to operate you will experience problems.  Most likely you will see lower velocities and possibly feeding issues from the Cyclone feed.  If you are using it with CO2, you may see some of the other problems I mentioned above.

You said you broke your tombstone adapter.  Once you get it replaced, if you do use the reg on the A5, do not use it as a fore grip.  There have been cases of damage to the body around the tombstone adapter area of the A5 from hanging heavy tanks there so this is to be avoided as well.
