So who has it pre ordered? I have been waiting 2 years for this game. And I will be waiting another two after this game, because treyarch can't produce anything worth a shi.

I have it pre-ordered for PS3, but am nowhere near an internet connection that can support on-line gaming. For the time-being, I'm jacked.

We have it in at my walmart, looks to be good stuff. I'm pretty excited about cod4:reflex. The in game graphics on the back of the box looks alot better than the beta shots. |

My recruiter got a call from the Play N Trade down the road, they want him to bring the Humvee to the release night tournament so I had to go sign up to kick high schoolers arses. Best part is it gets me out of PT in the morning. |

They removed dedicated servers. Basically, every decision they make is exactly the same as for consoles, which obviously doesn't bode well. Also, I am not paying IW for this game. ------------- BU Engineering 2012 |

I'm going to get it. I love their single-player presentation and how it just draws you in to an epic, showcase type of thing. MP is fun too.
But I'm not staying up till mightnight for it, since I have to be up at 445 every day this week. I'll probably buy it on Friday afternoon when I finally get half a day off. -------------

One guy called his friend and was like "Did you get MW2 yet?" His friend, whos sitting in his car in the driveway goes "Man, I've had it for days!" and starts pumping the gas pedal saying "I'm on a snowmobile in Kazachistan" His friend goes "There's no way you're that far yet" The 2nd guys car shifts into drive, and he ends up crashing into his garage door. Guy #12 goes "What was that?" and guy #2 goes "Don't worry about it, you'll never get this far" -------------

I think I'm at level 16 with 3 hours of play time.
Challenges are the key to leveling. Especially with the weapon ones. The SCAR-H is awesome. I just unlocked holographic site a few games ago. UMP 45 is decent but the victor and mp5k suck for now until I have cold blooded and a silencer. Also Live = SmallPotatos -------------

My roommate is. Watching him play is like watching one of those videos where a bad driver can't park a car to save his/her life. If there are people who haven't played the campaign yet, save yourself and your spectators some frustration, don't charge blindly into the same death trap 30 times in a row; don't neglect the gratuitous amount of cover available; and for goodness' sake, look behind you every once in a while. -------------

The multiplayer seems a bit overly like counterstrike for my taste at this point, but my opinion could change.
The campaign is okay, and in the sense of conventional war it's more like what I expected from COD4. I felt the campaign in that let me down in some ways. At this exact moment the campaign just took the best turn it could possibly have taken in my opinion. The special ops feature is interesting. Think it'll add some more value to the game all in all, I've only played a few missions on it. -------------

I had to stop playing and go shoot a deer when I hit about 40k in mp kills rank, haven't been on since :(
I guess the SCAR-H with a holo is my new red dot MP-5, thanks to the pathetic excuse for a smg version they included this time. The multiplayer is certainly more balanced this time. With the aforementioned gun setup on CoD 4 I could easily hit max kills in a couple of minutes on a small map. MW2 balances out the guns and makes for longer, more interesting matches and takes the focus off of run and gun and gives a strategy. My only real gripe really involves the lack of local split screen multiplayer, ala Halo 3, and I felt the coop options were fairly skimpy. Also...the single player has really taken the final plunge into big budget summer blockbuster action movie territory-there's very little in the line of war game here, a long step down from the epic feeling I had playing CoD 2 single player on PC. I came to this realization running down the streets of Rio with a pair of sawed off 12 guages mowing through fields of militia. And of course I still think the P90 should have been left out of multiplayer. You can pretty much (again) dominate small maps with it. -------------

Indeed. He wasn't that good at the game either, so I can only assume it was just because he played for 16 hours straight getting acheivments or something. I'm really trying hard to control the amount I play because my schedule is still really busy right now. How many points does it take to level up once you get to around level 40? It seems like every video I have seen it's been "+350" every fourth kill or so, and that seems like a bit much compared to the +5 I'm used to with WaW. -------------

I hit level 25 in about 3 hours. I I never looked at the breakdown of xp, but I was getting 6-7k on some matches. I went up in rank twice several matches.
It's far less about level than perks and challenges in MW 2. For instance there's the soh perk from CoD 4 that reloads faster, but after like 120 kills using that perk it becomes SoH pro and your sights come up faster. I like the way the "cheater" perks like martyrdom and (shudder) juggernaut have been moved over to death streak perks, so basically you have to pretty be taking it in the arse in a match before they kick in. -------------

I ordered the prestige waited in line at best buy. the night vision goggles are kinda cool except that everything looks alittle zoomed in so it kinda throws you off. Same here. Nothing sucks worse than that awesome knife kill than getting killed by a martyrdom grenade...
I have a trick I like to use when im sniping to lay prone on a claymore so when jackasses try to knife you they get blown to bits. And my XBL tag is stratoax3d -------------

It Saddens me that I have to wait a bit to get this game. First I need to replace my busted Controller $50 bucks and then the game $80. But when I get on people better prepare for an arse whoopin like no other.

Don't own it yet, but my brother brought it over and we all "cracked" out on it for 5-7 hours, played a lot of the SP, "Wow the Airport mission was Insane!" and finally got on MP, was doing good, and then had to give it up... I have now been 15+ hours without "crack" and am starting to get withdraws... MP is awesome.
I ran through the campaign first and have mixed feelings about it. I feel like its too much of a movie story line, but I can't deciede if I like it or not. After the whole General thing it gets a little far fetched but its fun anyway. 'No Russian' mission blew my mind. |

Played that mission last night. Not really a fan of mowing down tons of innocents but it didn't really bother me. However I can't wait to see the reaction towards it from the masses. Atleast it gave you the option to skip it though... ------------- I ♣ hippies. |

Yeah, but morons don't get that logic. If you Google MW2 no russian you'll get crap tons of posts on forums proclaiming their hatred for IW, and how they won't be playing the game again, etc etc.
Just wait till it ends up on Fox...I foresee media feces storm. -------------

Because society is a walking double standard. I go back to my "people are morons" comment.
It takes alot for me to find any kind of media offensive-but I'll tell you right now, some mom's going to use her ID to buy little Timmy this 'M' rated game, and Timmy's gonna be like HEY MOM CHECK THIS OUT IM KILLIN PEOPLEZ. Then mom's going to run to the local MAIT (Morons Against Independent Thought) meeting, send letters to all the local news outlets, and it'll become the next Mass Effect alien rape scene that gets honorable mention on O'Reilly.

I'm on PS3 now my PSN ID is evilelvisMOAB. I have to say I love the game... I was expecting something different but I am really liking this game.
I shoot around the people in "No Russian", think I busted about every window, computer just about everything still ended up getting capped at the end. -------------
