That Bush's approval were tanked, current trends show Obama and Dem lead Congress are lower than any 1st recorede year of a Presidential Admin, with the bowl just now starting to swire faster.

I'll just take the leftist stance like several prominant leftist/liberals stated in 2004 if Bush was elected. I'll promise to leave but stay anyway. 2010 can not come fast enough to get rid of Nazi Pelosi and crew. We will see how dedicated Dems are to the cause when the HC vote is delayed til July/August and thier careers are on the line in the 2010 elections. -------------

So you are stating the Nancy Pelosi is not an 'authoritarian' who does not take desent or critisizum well? Last I checked she is totally 'authoritarian' in the way she runs the house. Lets see, Ed Shultz, Mike Church, Andrew Wilkow, and other both right and left in 'talk radio' have refered to her as 'Nazi Pelosi' in the way she handles any opposition to her agenda in the house.
And why when Republicans held all three it was a threat to the American Way, and an affront to the established 'checks and balances' and now that the Dems hold all three it is 'never mind'? BTW this forum comes under 'recreational thought' and the 'serious' level percieved is not a constant. -------------

I know the canned response to this. A right-wing pundit named Jonah Goldberg wrote a book called "Liberal Fascism." It's pretty much 250 pages of revisionist history and logical fallacies. It comes down to 1) Fascism was bad / 2) I don't like liberals, therefore fascists were liberals. It's entertaining if you read it like satire. |

Bush started several unwinnable wars by taking advantage of the confusion following 9/11. Those wars costed a lot of money. Do you really expect Obama to be able to fix all the things you consider broken? Even if John McLame won, your country would be just as messed up. Only, you wouldn't see it that way. ------------- |
