It wasn't that bad. Everyone on the highways were freaking out and I was just swerving around them and was going 55-65 mph when everyone else was going 25-30. Some dumb people still managed to screw up on the bridges. People in Texas just freak out when they see snow on the roads.

Otherwise I got some 5axis rims for my car and new goodyear GTs to wrap them. Also will be getting a GPS before I go back to college. Considering all the stuff I got for my dorm room like TV, macbook pro, router, and all the other ends and outs, those count as presents. My present to my car will be coilovers.

People in Texas freak out if they see a cloud in the sky, and hide under bridges when it rains.

That's why I put "storm" in quotation. Nothing compared to what I lived in. But there was still quite a bit of ice over here in Burleson, as Strato can probably attest to. Made driving to dinner last night fun, doing donuts in the parking lot :)

Can one of you guys like... adopt me?

The total value of the gifts I've received for any single holiday or birthday has never exceeded $350, and for my to receive anywhere near half that amount is quite a rarity.

Anyway, the Turks have done a funny thing with Christmas. It still has all your favorite characters, pedo-Santa Claus at the mall, crack-addict Rudolf, elves as tall as (or taller than) mall Santa himself; but we took the Christmas out of Christmas and replaced it with New Years. There are fire hazard trees all over the place and all that happydappy music you hear about frightful weather and fireplace cooking still plays.

So, who knows? I missed out on my chance to skydive, I'll be in Cappadocia for New Years, which will hopefully get me the opportunity to jump off of a hot air balloon.

Skydiving lessons
New bookbag for my snowboard stuff
New snow goggles
Some rugby stuff I needed

at my dads I got a TomTom and Fred Biletnikoff  superbowl MVP signed jersey with some workout clothes I needed.

I got a couple of other odds and ends, cash from my grandmother, gift cards from my family(adds up pretty quickly with a family the size of mine).  House sitting for a friends family this weekend, so hopefully I'll get one last present from the lady friend tonight since she's spending all day at a mall with a very impressive Victoria's secret.

I'm glad to see this thread hasn't disentegrated into the "youre spoiled" name calling that it has in years past.  Cheers gentlemen.

Skydiving lessons.

I demand pics and video of you pooping your pants on your way out of the airplane.

As an alternative, should any potential fears you have refrain from manifesting, I demand pics and video of you having a kickass time.

Considering the Tippmann Air Force needs a ground segment, I motion for the formation of a Tippmann Airborne.

I would like to submit an ammendment to your proposal.

I motion for the formation of the Tippmann Skydiving team.

Amendment seconded.

Motion will now be put to vote. All in favor... screw this crap.

On behalf of the forum, I approve the motions. Tippmann Airborne and Skydiving Team are now active.

That's why I put "storm" in quotation. Nothing compared to what I lived in. But there was still quite a bit of ice over here in Burleson, as Strato can probably attest to. Made driving to dinner last night fun, doing donuts in the parking lot :)

There are few things enjoyable than getting to a freshly snowed on parking lot before the plows do.

With Walmart, I have returned stuff that we got from another store at a cheaper price saying we didn't have a receipt. They give you a gift certificate to walmart, but I got an inside person to exchange for cash. Basically made $40 on that.
