My Alpha Black w/egrip has a problem with firing. When I shoot semi-automatic it works, if I shoot it 3-shot it works, but if I shoot 8bps or 15bps the egrip shuts off after 1 shot. I did just install a cyclone and it works fine but I can't figure out why it wont shoot properly. I took off the gas, the hopper, and the barrel and I dry-shot it using just the egrip and it works full-auto but when I gas it up and put the cyclone on it doesn't work.
Is my fps too high? could that effect it? also I just put in a new battery so thats not the problem and my c02 tank is full.

Perhaps you problem is CO2. Rent or borrow an HPA tank.

I don't see how that can turn off my e-grip.

I would try the battery. Sounds to me (Although I have to say I am not familiar with this marker at all) like the selenoid isnt getting enough power to trip the sear when its aired up.

It could be a defect. When the Invert Mini came out a couple of years ago it did almost the same thing as what you're describing.

Its not a defect... Ive been playing with it for a year now, and its only happened since I put my gun back together after ordering missing screws and putting a new battery in.

Look for pinched wires, knocked off components, damage to the board. If it just started after you took it apart, you left something out or you broke something inside it.
If it only does this after you fire a few shots, theres either a almost-broken solder connection or a broken component thats making intermittent contact/breaks when the gun shakes from the shot.

The battery wasn't connected the whole way because the metal coupling holding it to the wires was loose, so I squeezed it together and it seems to be tighter so maybe that might help.
