Loof-on-a-stick.  (For those hard to reach places.)

(Whatever you do, don't visualize this.)

Washcloth. My mom left one of those Mr. Clean eraser sponges in the shower so I assumed it was some new type of exfoliating dealy. Took off quite a bit of skin before I realized I'd made an awful mistake.

My ex got me hooked on them. She wouldn't use anything but a loof...now I refuse to use washcloths.

Though I will admit I don't replace them as often as  I should...

Did the loof thing for a little while. The body wash I used caused a rash. I meant to find a different brand, but forgot, and just reverted to soap and washcloth.

Wait . . . what . . . you're supposed to replace them?

I use the loofah, it creates much more of a lather than the washcloth ever could so you end up saving soap, its common sense.  If you use body wash a loofah is a necessity.

I never understood the wash cloth or the loofah. I just twirl the bar of soap in my hand then rub my soapy hand all over. It gets the job done.

(me showering and applying soap is now in your head)

Also, bar soap = man soap.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Loof is easy and has been used for plenty of years. Bar soap gets all old and manky. Shower gel is easier to use, and easier to travel with.

Generally I use a loof till it falls apart. That doesn't take long, so I replace them regular like :P . I could break a lump of granite if you let me hold it.

Gf has a new thing, its like a chamios leather rose bud. That's a little to girly for me. She uses that, I loof.

glad i'm not the only one. no one else here uses just a bar of soap?

The whole bar of soap and hand thing just always struck me as really unsanitary. Probably less so than the washcloth or loofah, but I like that barrier between me and my uncleanliness, so it's a mental block.

Maybe its just the bar soap I've used, but bar soap always left my skin feeling weird, I don't get that with bodywash.

Guilty as well, although I use bar soap with it. Irish Spring to be exact. The lather isn't as good with the bar as it is with a wash, but it does the trick and I can't believe we're having this conversation.

To give everyone's man card a black mark, my wife's 'mommys guild' forum just had this exact same conversation.

That is my preferred wash method. Just put some body wash on it and just start scrubbing. Easy to use and holds the soap well. It also is a good scrubbing surface. Not to soft and not to rough. You can really feel the clean.

I had that problem with everything except Dove for bars o' soap.  Real manly, like.

That said, I washcloth it.  Never loofed though, something to try it seems like.  I never feel as clean if I just use my hand or whatever compared to a washcloth.

Also, I use bar soap or bodywash depending on mood.

Generally, just bodywash.  Depending where I am, I might revert to a bar.

Not a huge fan of loofahs, but lots of guys use them in the boathouse.

Those of you using your hands and bar soap aren't clean, I hate the feeling after. Leaves crap behind. I know I got Gatyr into loofahing because he had dry skin and couldn't get rid of it, now he's happy as a clam.

Loofahs are the way to go, old spice bodywash.
