A good friend of mine is obsessed with Lay's Ketchup Potato chips...but they're hard as hell to find, and they're like 7 bucks a bag on eBay. If anyone in Canada has accesss to these (I have no clue how common they are, haven't really researched this) perhaps he could pay you to ship them to him-?

Serious offers only plz Wink

There are some places in the US that get them, but for whatever reason they're like a prized commodity or something. I don't get it, I hate ketchup so the idea sounds disgusting, but my friend took a trip to a Canada with his parents 5 or 6 years ago and has been talking about them ever since. So I thought I'd dig around and figure out what the easiest / most economical way to find them is.

I haven't seen a gas station or grocery store that doesn't have them, I was shocked to hear the states don't get them.

We sell them at work, so occassionally I bring ketchup chips and beer home. It's great. You guys also dont get all dressed chips.

I'll trade someone either chips, poutine gravy mix, or all dressed chips for everclear?

Keeping in mind I'm from the deep south here, and have never heard of ketchup chips except for on the forum here, but I would like to know what the difference between "ketchup chips" and just getting some plain chips and dipping them in ketchup is.....

The same thing as getting regular chips and dipping them into a sour cream and onion dip?

Seriously. If your friend hasn't been talking about all dressed, then he either has no taste buds or didn't get to experience the greatness that is all dressed.

You haven't eaten chips until you've eaten all dressed chips.

There was a specific brand that I found absolutely wonderfully beyond the rest, but all brands are good so far as I can tell.

They're getting harder to find, but the next time I run across some I'll buy a whole bunch and divvy them out to whoever wants them.  I think Utz is a Pennsyvania based company, so some of our yankee forumers may be able to help.

Ouch. I thought the local college liquor store was overpriced for the $10/6 pack of Heineken and the like.

I dunno but you wouldn't want to drink it.

I remember in Quebec, they sold the "Big 10" everywhere. A litre of 10% beer. They were on for 2 for $7.

One is enough to get you pretty messed up but it takes you an hour to drink it since it tastes so bad.

$3.50 and you are drunk.

Not sure what the cheapest in the country is, but $10 will get you a 6 pack of colt45 or PBR.

Oh and a mickey (or Pint as you yanks say) of Vodka is $13 average for cheap stuff.

In Texas we have a unique form vomit inducing called Steel Reserve. 4 bucks a 12 pack at Wally World at 8 percent alcohol.

It's REAL bad.

I get six packs if imports here for around 9 bucks, that's for good beer, of course I'm
not much of a beer drinker, just a Shiner, Corona, or whatnot.

A fifth of Everclear is about 12 bucks here I believe (quit drinking it when I was 19, lol),and I buy handles of Captain Morgan for 22 bucks at a hole in the wall liquor store in Ft Worth.

I couldn't afford my drinking habits in Canada...

We have that here, rough stuff. During bar golf we had to shotgun a tallboy of it.  One of my least fond memories over the last 20.5 years of life.

No. Its a dilapidated sketchy building in the hood with a batch of homeless/sketchy people surrounding it, with an apartment above it.
