I am ahving the same issue with an A% with the HE grip.  no matter the setting the gun is in runaway mode.  if a ball is loaded into the chamber it is immediately chopped.

Lee,

I stripped down my A5 with HE and found that a small magnet which allows the solenoid to return was not properly in place within the grip.  After placing it back in place the gun operates as desgined.  Make sure there is no debris or dust in front of this internal area of the grip.

I hope this cures your issue.

Had this happen to mine, if you shoot more than 3bps on the H.E. E-Grip when on semi-auto it automatically goes into fully auto mode.  Turn the E-grip off(using the exterior power button which is located in the grip, if it's a built inside E-Grip i can't help you) but anyway turn off the E-grip and then when turning it on hold it down for 10 seconds, it should reset to factory setting and flash Green/Yellow/Red twice.  If you need to shoot fast turn on the FA mode, not the semi... otherwise that'll happen everytime.
